4 Screen STE -5 The STE -5 is a four bearing screen with a strong mm circular stroke and elevation, operating at 800 rpm. The upper deck is side tensioned. The cat walk gives optimum access for inspection and for changing screening media. The lower deck is end tensioned. For inspection and access there are inspection holes in the sides of the screen box. When changing screening media the fines conveyor can be folded as a platform. The lower deck can be installed with ball deck. The Vibroblock concept The Maskin Mekano Vibro lock concept means the screen box is mounted on a vibration damped frame which prevents the vibrations from the screen from transmitting to the chassis. This saves the entire plant from damages caused by vibration, whilst the screening motion remains efficient. The Vibro lock design allows the STE screen to operate with the capacity of a four bearing screen as smooth as a two bearing screen, and keeps the power in the screen-box where it belongs. Feeding The feeding unit consists of a hopper, reject grid and belt feeder. The hopper holds approximately 5 m³ and the feed-in-height is.55 m. It is equipped with a hydrualically foldable reject grid, remote controlled via radio transmitter. The loading width of the reject grid is.5 m and the opening gap between the bars of the reject grid is, as standard 80 mm (adjus adjustable). The feeder belt operates via a variable speed control.

5 Stockpiling The Ls 90 is fitted with three hydraulically foldable onboard stockpiling conveyors. Folding is performed without any twisting of belts. The drum motors are cambered and gummed. onstruction The Ls 90 is mounted on a heavy duty road trailer with twin suspended and braking axles. The strong construction is designed to minimize vibrations during operation as well as for high towing stability. The machine is raised and lowered by means of a hydraulic lifting leg and two separate jacking legs. King-pin for towing. Electric drive for low costs ll Maskin Mekano plants are electrically driven which means their diesel consumption is up to 60% lower than hydraulically driven plants. Noise impact is reduced to a minimum. The electrical cabinet is fitted with sockets for interlocking with crusher or extra conveyors, providing possibility to stop these units via the emergency stops on the Ls 90. The diesel generator The diesel generator (optional) is mounted on a separate frame that can be lifted down with the scoop. Moving the generator several meters away from the worst dust means that the strain on the filter and other vital components is significantly reduced.
