3 California IOUs Tasked with Conducting TOU Rate Opt-In Pilot Would customers reduce/shift their electricity usage in response to the higher electricity prices in the afternoons/evenings? 9 Actions Taken Resulted in Savings for Many TOU Rate Groups Nexant performed load and bill impact analyses First summer: Nearly all TOU Rate groups monthly bills and peak hour usage reduced due to behavior change Most TOU Rate groups load reductions were significant -3.94% -$ BECC Washington, DC October 8, 2018 pg. 9
