11 Save Power Day Incentive Program Highlights PTR Incentive ($/kwh) 2-6PM during PTR events w/o Enabling Technology $0.75 w/ Enabling Technology $1.25 Description: Provides for significant credits for usage reductions during peak periods (e.g. 2 pm to 6 pm) of critical peak days. The Save Power Day Incentive is included (embedded) in Schedule D rates. Applicability: Available to Residential customers ONLY. Events: Unlimited events (i.e., no max or min # of events), designed for 12 events, may occur any time of year (i.e. not limited to summer months), called on a day-ahead basis. Bill Credit: $0.75 for customers without enabling technology. CSRL Baseline: Average 2 pm to 6 pm usage for the highest of 3 of 5 previous weekdays, excluding previous event days and holidays. Dual Participation: No dual participation with the Summer Advantage Program, but can participate on the Summer Discount Plan (AC cycling program). Implementation Timing: Summer 2011 (customers with an Edison SmartConnect meter). 11
12 Summer Advantage Incentive Program Highlights Description: Provides for bill credits for all summer (non-event) kwh consumption. Also imposes significant price increases for all usage during event periods (e.g. 2 pm to 6 pm). Applicability: Residential, C&I < 200 kw, and Agricultural customers. Events: 9 minimum, 15 maximum. SCE will plan to call 12 events annually. Events are limited to summer months, called on day-ahead basis. Charge: $1.36/kWh adder during event hours. CPP Charges ($1.36/kWh) Non-event summer kwh consumption Residential CPP Credits Small C&I CPP Credits Medium C&I CPP Credits $.04/kWh $.04/kWh $10.19/kW Credit: $0.04 per kwh consumed for all kwh during the 4 summer months excluding kwh consumed during event window. Demand credit for GS-2 customers. Customer Bills: Included in customer s next bill as line item charges and credits as separate line items. Dual Participation: No dual participation with Save Power Day Incentive for Residential customers, but can participate on Summer Discount Plan (AC cycling program). Bill Protection: 12 months of bill protection applied at end of the first 12 months of enrollment. 12
