Objectives of R&D Center: development of new processes; increasing operational performance of existing production facilities with new equipment and technologies; R&D testing facilities: polymerisation: A laboratory for synthesis of PAN polymer dope and development of PAN precursor spinning technologies. two pilot-scale PAN spinning lines (a third pilot spinning line will be launched in 2012); carbon fibre technology testing lab: lab-scale oxidation, carbonisation and graphitisation line.
