1 THE ULTRA SEAL TM ADVANTAGE With the ever-increasing technology in performance and racing engines, there became a demand for a stronger, more durable gasket. Also, bi-metal engines (aluminum/iron] have become more popular in the racing industry which presents gasket manufacturers with some unique sealing problems. Mr. Gasket, the originator of High Performance Gaskets, has met the challenge and developed a line of gaskets called Ultra-Seal to meet the sealing demands of these performance engines. Ultra-Seal is the most advanced, tested and proven gasket on the market today, and has earned the respect of many professional racers. ULTRA-SEAL HEAD GASKET WITH GRAFOIL CORE Perfect choice for naturally aspirated, severe street duty, and high-performance racing engines where under 2 to compression ratio is utilized. The ULTRA-SEAL head gasket is designed to provide maximum sealing on both cast iron and aluminum cylinder heads. This head gasket meets the sealing challenge of engines used in severe environment conditions-racing! It features GRAFOIL, a unique, flexible, non-asbestos material that remains stable at temperatures exceeding 000 degrees Fahrenheit. GRAFOIL's superior heat dissipation properties eliminate hot spots, the primary cause of blown head gaskets and compression leaks. The 5-layer composite construction sandwiches the GRAFOIL material between two steel plates for strength, and then a special formulated elastomer coating is applied to both sides to provide added sealing protection against minor surface imperfections, Grafoil is a registered trademark of Union Carbide creating a tight, leakproof seal across the entire sealing surface, even around water ports. INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS The Ultra-Seal Silicone Beaded Intake Gasket is the perfect solution to eliminate sealing problems encountered with today s aluminum cylinder heads and intake manifolds. With small sealing surface areas between ports, and different expansion rates of cylinder heads and intake manifolds, GASKETS ULTRA SEAL HEAD GASKET WITH GRAPHOIL CORE 5-LAYER COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION Non Retorquing Elastomer Coated Material Perforated Steel For Strength Flexible Graphite Core this gasket is the first choice for these difficult sealing applications. ULTRA-SEAL ADVANTAGE. A blend of nitrile rubber and fiber forms a durable base material that will not crack or split under excessive clamp load. 2. Resists wicking and withstands 600 degree temperature. 3. Specially formulated silicone bead, compatible with racing gasoline and alcohol fuel, is precisely placed around each port to increase sealing pressure creating a tight leakproof seal. 4. Most gaskets are available in /6" and /8" thickness to compensate for any machine work done to the cylinder block or heads. VALVE COVER GASKETS The Ultra-Seal Valve Cover Gaskets are made from cork particles blended with special polymers to make our Ultra-20 material. The Ultra-20 3

2 material is far superior to standard cork, rubber, or fiber valve cover gaskets because this unique blend causes the Ultra-Seal valve cover gasket to swell to a controlled thickness and not contract like other gaskets do; you will not need to retorque the valve covers. They retain a high-tensile strength to compensate for excessive flange pressures and will not lose compressibility or heat harden under severe racing conditions. ULTRA-SEAL ADVANTAGE. Creates a positive seal by controlled swelling of the gasket material when exposed to hot engine oil. 2. Once a certain degree of swell occurs at high temperatures, the swelling stops and the thickness of the gasket will not decrease, even when cooled, eliminating the need to re-torque the valve covers. 3. High-tensile strength will handle excessive flange pressure without cracking or distorting. 4. Additional polymers allow the gasket to form a leakproof seal, even under extreme torque conditions, without distortion. 5. A black latex coating is applied to the outside to help seal minor surface imperfections and eliminate the possibility of leakage. This special coating will also assure easy gasket removal during disassembly. STEEL CORE VALVE COVER GASKETS Designed for use on maximum performance engines, these gaskets are made from a high-density cork/rubber compound laminated to a steel core that can be reused many times. The steel core construction prevents the gasket from being drawn inside the valve cover under extreme vacuum conditions and keeps the gasket from blowing out under excessive pressure. All gaskets are /4" thick to provide additional valve train to cover clearance. EXHAUST & COLLECTOR GASKETS These premium exhaust gaskets are designed and constructed to improve sealing of exhaust header flanges. Unlike standard exhaust material, ULTRA-SEAL exhaust gaskets incorporate a graphite-impregnated facing and steel expanded metal core that reinforces and increases the tensile strength. This gives the gasket the ability to conform to warped flanges, allowing better sealing capabilities without deteriorating or cracking under excessive heat and pressure of racing engines. The lubricating properties of graphite enables this gasket to withstand intense heat and resist deteriorating due to rapid expansion and contraction movement of header flanges. 3. COPPERSEAL EXHAUST GASKETS These special and unique exhaust gaskets are made from.043" thick solid copper, and are race track proven to eliminate exhaust leaks in Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car, and Alcohol class race cars. They feature an embossed O-ring design to increase sealing pressure around exhaust ports, creating a tight, leakproof seal. Also ideal for tow vehicles and motor homes.. Will not shrink, deteriorate, or blowout. 2. Header bolts stay tight and secure. 3. Seals irregular or slightly damaged surfaces. 4. Conducts heat from the engine through the exhaust system to help lower underhood temperatures. OIL PAN GASKETS The ULTRA-SEAL oil pan gaskets are designed for todays performance engines that create excessive amounts of vacuum and pressure in the oil pan caused by crankcase evacuation systems and dry sump oil systems. These gaskets are constructed from our MAXI-SEAL fiber material which has excellent tensile strength and superior blow-out resistance. Solicor cylinder head gaskets are the ultimate in mechanically sealing the combustion chamber and ensure the microseal of engine fluids. Solicor is a high-performance cylinder head gasket created by Victor Reinz, a world leader in engine gasket manufacturing. The technology in developing Solicor head gaskets was initially for diesel engine applications where 20 to and greater compression ratios are necessary. Solicor high-performance head gaskets are composed of a high density, non-asbestos facing laminated to a solid steel core. This solid core provides radial strength for a steel wire ring encased in the stainless steel combustion flange, ideal for sealing high combustion chamber pressures.
