2 Joncryl HSD 201 is an acrylic resin designed to efficiently disperse Titanium Oxide (TiO 2 ) in solventbased inks. This resin enables the manufacture of high gloss, high solids, lower VOC opaque white inks for both surface print and lamination applications. Joncryl HSD 201, supplied in flake form, can be easily dispersed in various alcohol, acetate, and glycol ether solvents or solvent blends suitable for flexo or gravure ink applications. 3 MIXING PROCEDURE: Solubilize Joncryl HSD 201 in preferred solvent blend. Add TiO 2 pigment under agitation. For best results, use Joncryl HSD 201 as the sole dispersant in the concentrated dispersion. STARTING POINT FORMULATIONS: The following starting point formulations are recommended for an initial evaluation of Joncryl HSD 201. Additional optimization of the formulations will be required to achieve maximum suitability for specific applications.
