OTR Price Detailed description Due to recent legal threats from Nissan's UK lawyers to all UK importers offering the latest Nissan Supercar as imports, in order to avoid any possible infringement of Trademarks, we regret we cannot describe the car below using it's full name. We offer the service of assisting in the importation these vehicles personally, for individuals wishing to receive their new cars before officially becoming available within the UK from March For this we charge a set fee of 1,800 incl. VAT above importation costs payable by the customer. Each car we assist in the importation of will be pre-registered in Japan, then de-registered for export. This makes the vehicles technically "used". With goods shipped being consigned to the individual who buys the car from Japan, this is a personal import, which does not breach any laws with regard to Trademark within the UK. At the 35th Tokyo Motor Show in 2001, a unique Supercar concept was unveiled, confirming this legend would be continued into the 21st century. The design of the R35 expresses Motorsport heritage, coming from the first model PGC10 (1969) through R34 (1999), to a new and even more expressive form. The body design was inspired by the "Gundam" Manga robot, which today is a famous Japanese Manga character. The design strategy was to make a car that was instantly recognisable as being of Japanese design, of a form never seen before. The resultant concept is that of an "Ultimate Supercar for Anyone, Anywhere at Any time".this new car promises ultimate performance for virtually every tarmac driving situation, whether it be attacking the Nurburgring Circuit (7:38 at Nurburgring) or driving in snow, rain, Autobahns or urban areas with a spacious luxury interior and no-nonsense Japanese reliability. This new design is a first which hasn't been produced with a similar 4-door shell. This entirely focused design has been developed with a greater emphasis and appreciation of gravity, inertial 1

2 force and aerodynamics to produce an every day usable Supercar. The all new body encompasses a combination of steel, carbon fibre and aluminium with the rigidity hereditary of a jig-welded hybrid unibody. The bonnet, doors and boot lid are made of lightweight aluminium with die-cast aluminium door structures & the front cross member and radiator support are carbonreinforced. The slippery yet muscular shape with a drag coefficient of only Cd27 is the result of high-speed wind-tunnel testing. Every styling aspect from the overall design right down to the smallest detail has been carefully considered, right down to the unique flush mounted door handles. The large 4 passenger cabin features a sloping "aero blade canopy" roofline with black A pillars, to give the impression of a racing helmet. Mirrors are heated and wipers are flat blade type. The curved C-Pillar is a distinct identity, as are the hallmark four-ring tail lights. The brake lights are bright LED type for enhanced visibility combined with LED combination tail lights. Also incorporated is a high level stop light housed in the centre of the rear spoiler. To give better rear visibility, the spoiler's purposefully been kept low. The headlights are super-wide beam with High Intensity Discharge (HID) for main beam. The new aggressive front end with a large bonnet bulge and a single air intake provide a sophisticated style whilst the new scoop in the front wings assist in providing front down force and optimisation of side airflow. The unique rear wing design optimises air flow over the rear of the car whilst providing down force and stability at high speed. The underside has also been given careful attention so it's as flat as possible, to optimise air flow and further increase down force. The result is a car which has enhanced grip in all weather situations whilst enhancing fuel efficiency. 20" super-light forged alloy wheels are manufactured by RAYS, with Dark Chrome wheels combined with specially developed Bridgestone RE070R sports tyres (Only available as standard with the "Black Edition" models, but available as an option on other variations) housing the most powerful brakes seen yet on a Japanese production Supercar. Brembo monoblock 6-piston front and 4-piston calipers are combined with massive 380mm two-piece full floating drilled rotors with diamond-pattern internal ventilation both front & rear, no less. Suspension is handled by a unique Bilstein DampTronic system which utilizes all pertinent vehicle information to tailor damping forces for prevailing road conditions. 3 Modes are selectable by the driver: Normal/Sport (For automatic electronic damper control), Comfort (For enhanced ride comfort) and R mode (For track and high speed driving). The world's first application of an independent transaxle 4WD system places the dual-clutch gearbox, transfer case and final drive at the rear of the car which enables weight distribution to be optimised. Aside from providing superb front / rear weight balance, this also enhances leg & foot space and also gives way for an optimal driver's pedal layout. The 6-Speed paddle shift dual- 2

3 clutch (6 plate Borg Warner) transmission changes gears in less than 0.5 seconds (0.2 seconds in R mode) and rev matches all downshifts to perfection. Normal, Snow and R-Mode are each driver selectable. A further feature is Predictive pre-shift control (in R mode) which works based on throttle position, vehicle speed braking and cornering. Hill Start Assist prevents the car rolling backward when starting on an incline.continuing the Godzilla tradition, a new and more intelligent ATTESSA All-Wheel drive is utilised in combination with electronic traction control plus a 1.5-way mechanically locking rear differential. Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC-R) has 3 driver adjustable settings: Normal, R-Mode and OFF. Engines and transmissions are assembled by a single craftsman in a clean room environment and upon completion, every new example goes through very comprehensive testing to ensure perfection, inclusive of a km test drive. Powering this new legend is an all new 3.8 litre "VR38" twin turbocharged V6. Performance is vehemently & reliably assured with 480 6,800 rpm and 430 lb-ft torque available at between 3,200-5,200 rpm. A secondary air-management system provides approx. 40 kg/m of torque during low rev town driving combined with low emissions which makes the GT-R meet Japan's low emissions vehicle standards (U-LEV) in Japan. Packaging has been carefully thought out so that a huge intercooler and oil cooler are discreetly housed behind the front bumper, ready for any challenge. The high level of technology is evident even with the paint which utilises a double clear coat and anti stone chip process. The Ultimate Metal Silver (#KAB) paint option is a special new finish which is painstakingly hand polished by craftsmen between application of coats. The interior is designed with Supercar duties or daily driving in mind. Sculpted performance bucket seats greet you with a combination of high quality leather and Alcantara inserts. 8 way electrical adjustability and heating provide the driver and front passenger with tailored comfort. The dash is also part trimmed in leather as is the steering wheel & shift knob.the instrument panel has a clear, easy to read at a glance display with a large centrally mounted tachometer, with gear display on the upper right. The multi-function meter provides information about the car's running temperatures, boost, etc. as well as brake pedal pressure, steering angle and optimal gear shifts.adjustability is natural to the daily driver ability of this car with a special "set-up switch" easily accessible at the centre of the dashboard. This switch give the driver individual adjustability of the transmission, shock absorbers and vehicle dynamic control (VDC-R), for Normal, Comfort or simply "R", for Supercar application.just in case the exterior hadn't already given the game away, drilled aluminium pedals and embossed sills provide a clue as to what this car's about... The metallic-framed centre console features a red "Engine Start" button, which works in combination with the intelligent key.dual individual rear bucket seats combined with an integrated central arm rest and a deeply spacious boot provide the R35 with genuine 2+2 touring potential. 3

4 A high-speed 30GB hard disc drive is the central base of the Japanese market's navigation system (We intend to offer Navigation conversion packages for the UK shortly after the US version is released later in 2008). The screen interface also features an excellent entertainment system with Music Box hard drive, DVD and CD player and Bluetooth 2 audio function. As standard it's a 6 speaker system, but there is the option of a BOSE designed 11 speaker system which includes two forward-facing woofers in the rear centre division and traditional door mounted speakers. Speakers are mounted in rigid aluminium panels, so in combination with a high quality system provide sound quality that's expected of a Supercar. Standard safety equipment includes a pop-up bonnet for enhanced pedestrian safety, front SRS airbags, front seat belts with tension reducer, front seat belts with load limiter, and 3 point rear seat belts. Driver and front passenger SRS side airbag system and SRS curtain airbags are offered as an optional extra. Electronic safety aids include Traction control, ABS, Brake Assist, Electronic Brake force Distribution and Preview Braking together with the many other engineering / safety features featured above. Tyres are of a special run-flat design able to maintain structure for 50 miles of travel at 50 mph, while still providing an acceptable level of performance. GT-R tuning specialists of the UK, such as Abbey Motorsport, Middlehurst Motorsport, Perfect Touch and other Skyline specialists have already begun to receive R35's for customers and have serious intentions of remaining the premier places in the UK where these vehicles can be maintained. After all, this new car is their future...! Although not officially confirmed at the time of writing, we're told that Nissan UK will offer warranties will for personally imported examples. As a failsafe we are negotiating comprehensive warranties extendable beyond 3 years cover with roadside assistance to provide a similar warranty cover to that officially available. 48 How the Newera System Works (1). Starting with your inquiry, we provide a quote or communication, so that we are clear on just what you are after. We ask for detailed information from you, so we can provide an accurate quotation from the beginning. If you are inquiring about a car from stock, steps (2) and (4) are not required. (2). When sourcing to order, our quotation is based on your requirements. As long as your budget is sufficient for the car youre after & the car is likely to be available, we will be prepared to find the car you order, or better. Remember: even if you budget too much, it doesnt matter. We operate a system of supplying the best car we can find, plus a set fee of 900. If we can buy your car for a low price, then you make the corresponding saving. (3). When you are ready to proceed, we ask for a deposit (& completed order form, if applicable). The deposit is usually 1,000. If you want a car worth over 10K OTR, then the deposit is 1,500. The deposit is fully refundable without question, should you for any reason need to cancel before a car is bought on your behalf. If you are reserving a car from stock the deposit is refundable less costs and time incurred provided you cancel 4 working days before shipment from Japan. (4). Miguel, our buyer keeps you informed via periodically whilst searching for your car. Sometimes it can take weeks, even months to find the right car. In addition to Miguel attending the major Tokyo auctions daily, we have buyers searching daily throughout Japan for the car you want. No news simply means we havent found it yet. We dont buy the first car which comes along. It must meet or exceed your requirements whilst not costing more than the OTR price we agreed, though it frequently costs less. (5). As soon as available, we will you up to 30 detailed photographs, showing all aspects of your car. We also include a detailed description. Of course, total OTR price is known at this stage, so we let you know. Cars are insured from the time theyre bought, to the time they are completed & collected by you in UK. (6). Usually, boats are available every 2-3 weeks, from Japan to UK (Southampton). 48

49 We arrange for your car to be shipped on the first vessel available. Around the time the car is shipped, we ask for the second instalment. Typically this is approximately 60% of the cars OTR total cost. Note that the car we supply to you is fully insured at all times prior to you collecting it. (7) We arrange booking of the SVA test in advance - shortly after the car departs, so that the car can be tested as soon as possible upon arrival to UK. We also inform our UK agent of your full contact details and information on everything which needs doing, to make sure the car wil be presented in beautiful condition. (8). Shipping takes 5 weeks. Around 2 weeks before arrival, we ask you for the final instalment, to cover Import duties, VAT, shipping, UK conversions, testing, registraton etc. (9). Before the car arrives, we arrange customs clearance, etc. so the car neednt spend un-necessary time waiting at the docks upon arrival. It usually takes 3-4 days for cars to be unloaded and cleared by UK customs. (10). The car is sent from Southampton to our UK agents premises in Canterbury aboard a car transporter. Upon arrival there, it is SVA converted, derestricted, SVA tested & MOTd (If applicable). All minor cosmetic work required (e.g. bumper scratches) is carried out. The car is fully valetted just before you collect it. (11). The car comes with 6 months road tax and is fully registered in your name as the first UK keeper. If you have a suitable private number plate youd like to go on the car, we can also arrange this, provided you have a DVLA retention certificate. N.B.
