3 WHAT A NICE VIEW! The functiona and we-designed dashboard of the Citigo offers a ot of what you are used to from ŠKODA. Citigo S and SE modes come with a standard pastic three spoke steering whee. A unique Portabe Infotainment Device (P I D), provides customers with an array of features an onboard trip computer, navigation system, hands free Buetooth system and a mutimedia payer, a in a singe device. PID aso has the abiity to pay your music from the micro SD Card. PID unit optiona on S and SE modes, standard on Monte Caro and SE L. The radio in the Citigo contains a FM/AM receiver with rds (radio data system), to dispay particuar information about the radio station (where information is avaiabe). In addition there is a CD payer for CDs and MP3's with a 3.5mm Aux-in. The 3.5mm Aux-in audio jack on the front pane of the radio is idea for connecting externa MP3 payers. Citigo S and SE modes come with PID preparation which means shoud you wish, you can purchase a PID unit at any point during ownership via accessories. AuTHENTIC. The Citigo features ots of sma, cever storage soutions. ACCESSIBLE. The Citigo is the ony SKODA in our current range to offer 3 or 5 doors. In the 3-door mode the front seats on SE, Monte Caro and SE L can be pushed forward aowing better access to the rear. 5 Citigo space... Spacious. The Citigo's compact design conceas a generous interior space, offering penty of room and comfort, which aows two aduts to sit comfortaby in the rear. A striking feature of the front seats are the integrated head rests, giving the car a touch of dynamism whist providing the front passengers with a comfortabe seating position and good support. Citigo is not just for driving in and around towns and cities; the seats in both the front and rear are more than comfortabe enough for any ong journey. Interior shown is for iustration purposes ony. The boot offers a spacious 251 itres - enough to carry shopping, uggage or picnics on days out or if you woud prefer 2,711 pingpong bas (source AQA). 6 Precise. Citigo has an eegant and dynamic design that shows off eements of the ŠKODA design DNA. Citigo is a car that appeas to the heart as we as the head. The front of the Citigo features a finned grie set in a chrome frame (SE and SE L modes). Its styish and eegant window ines run aong the side of the car without compromising on rear visibiity. The optiona eectric panoramic sunroof gives the driver and passengers a fantastic feeing of ight and space inside the Citigo. Despite its compactness, the Citigo has as standard four airbags, ABS, a seatbet reminder for those in the front and rear to fasten their seat bets, as we as ESC and a tyre pressure monitor. The design of the side and curtain airbags demonstrate innovation and progress in ŠKODA s passive safety. Head thorax and side airbags combine two airbags into a singe system heping to protect the frontseat passengers in the event of a side impact. With an array of standard passive and active safety systems Citigo has been abe to achieve a five star Euro NCAP rating (European New Car Assessment Programme). Fog ights integrated in the front bumper increase safety when visibiity is reduced. Fog ights are standard on Monte Caro and SE L and optiona on SE modes. There are three parking sensors integrated into the rear bumper, which check the cars distance from any obstaces. Optiona on SE, Monte Caro and SE L modes. With ISOFIX and top-tether fixing systems as standard, Citigo has not overooked the smaest passengers. Citigo aso features advanced technoogy - an optiona 'City-safe' brake assist sensor that is designed to monitor the area in front of the vehice, activey assisting braking at speeds beow 19 mph when there is danger of a coision. 8 ŠKODA Citigo Engines and GreenTech GrEENTECH Avaiabe on the SE and SE L trim eves is SKODA's GreenTech, which consists of a stop/start system, brake energy recovery, owered suspension and tyres with reduced roing resistance. Stop/start During waiting times at red traffic ights or whist sitting in traffic, the engine wi switch off automaticay, restarting as soon as the driver presses the cutch (or steps off the brake). Automatic (ASG * ) Gears are seected automaticay and eaving the driver to just choose D - drive, N - neutra and R reverse. Gear changes are based on various settings - dependent on driving stye and vehice acceeration. Recovery is another inteigent technoogy making use of the energy used for driving. Whenever the driver steps off the acceerator or presses the brake peda (during coasting and braking phases), the battery is charged. On subsequent acceeration or at constant speed, votage can then be decreased, heping to reduce the strain on the engine. The 1.0-itre threecyinder engine is avaiabe as a 60PS or 75PS. These sma petro engines are extremey fexibe, enabing agie driving around town or outside the city. 18 Technica gossary Customer services Warranty ABS: the anti-ock braking system prevents the whees from ocking during heavy or emergency braking, enabing the vehice to remain steerabe. When braking, whee speed sensors measure the road whee speed and shoud one or more whees start to ock the system reduces brake pressure to that whee. Eements of the ABS System :- EBC: Eectronic brake contro. The engine brake torque contro reguates the power suppy by intervening with the engine management system. ASG: the ASG differs from norma automatic gearboxes by using eectromechanica components to change gear instead of a hydrauicay operated mechanism. This has reduced weight and increased the precision of contro and reiabiity. The gearbox is controed with the gear seector. It features the standard D (drive), N (neutra) and R (reverse) positions as we as having the abiity to use a sequentia seection of gears (+/-). The ASG does not feature the norma P (parking) position. The engine must be started in position N, with the brake peda depressed. The ASG transmission differs from other automatic gearboxes in that it eiminates the creeping movement common with an automatic transmission after seecting forward drive mode D (Drive). The car moves off after the acceerator has been pressed and the engine speed has increased. Cacuating your tax iabiity To find out how much tax you wi pay, simpy take the P11D vaue, then mutipy this figure by the BiK percentage.
