2 The ŠKODA Citigo We would like to introduce you to the ŠKODA Citigo. As the name suggests, the Citigo is a car that feels right at home in cities and around town. Citigo redefines what s possible with a city car - small exterior dimensions yet great interior space offering ample room for four adults. With great manoeuvrability, exceptional comfort and high levels of equipment, Citigo has been designed to deal with almost anything life can throw at it. 3 WHAT A NICE VIEW! The functional and well-designed dashboard of the Citigo offers a lot of what you are used to from ŠKODA. Citigo S and SE models come with a standard plastic three spoke steering wheel. Monte Carlo models feature a leather sport steering wheel with red stitching and SE L models get a three spoke leather steering wheel. Image is for illustration purposes only. 4 SmArT. The radio in Citigo S has an Fm/Am receiver as well as a CD player and two speakers. The Aux-in is ideal for connecting external mp3 players and there's also an SD card slot and usb port too. In addition to this radio equipment, SE models and above also have a colour display. Whilst there is no CD player option, there are six speakers instead of two and Bluetooth connectivity. Also, SE models onwards can have greater connectivity with the ŠKODA move & Fun app, which is free to download to your smartphone from the relevant Android or ios app store. The app offers a range of functions such as access to your contacts for calls, your playlists for music and TomTom satellite navigation to help you get about. What's more, it comes with a universal phone holder attached to the dashboard so you can easily connect your smartphone to the radio via Bluetooth. AuTHENTIC. The Citigo features lots of small, clever storage solutions. ACCESSIBlE. The Citigo is the only ŠKODA in our current range to offer 3 or 5 doors. In the 3-door model the front seats on SE, monte Carlo and SE l can be pushed forward allowing better access to the rear. 5 Citigo space... Spacious. The Citigo's compact design conceals a generous interior space, offering plenty of room and comfort, which allows two adults to sit comfortably in the rear. The front seats of the Citigo have integrated head rests, giving the car a touch of dynamism whilst providing the front passengers with a comfortable seating position and good support. Citigo is not just for driving in and around towns and cities; the seats in both the front and rear are more than comfortable enough for any long journey. The boot offers a spacious 251 litres - enough to carry shopping, luggage or picnics on days out or if you would prefer 2,711 pingpong balls (source AQA). Isofix restraints are fitted as standard on both rear seats so that child seats can be fitted securely to help keep babies or young children safe. 6 Precise. Citigo has an elegant and dynamic design that shows off elements of the ŠKODA design DNA. Citigo is a car that appeals to the heart as well as the head. The front of the Citigo features a finned grille set in a chrome frame (SE and SE L models). Its stylish and elegant window lines run along the side of the car without compromising on rear visibility. The optional electric panoramic sunroof gives the driver and passengers a fantastic feeling of light and space inside the Citigo. The C-shape in the tail lights make the Citigo as unmistakable from the rear as it is from the front. On SE L and Monte Carlo, the rear lights have a darkened glass finish. 7 Passive safety CArING. The Citigo has good levels of safety and technology. Driver front airbag is shown on the left, which is not UK specification. Despite its compactness, the Citigo has as standard four airbags, ABS, a seatbelt reminder for those in the front and rear to fasten their seat belts, as well as ESC and a tyre pressure monitor. The design of the side and curtain airbags demonstrate innovation in ŠKODA s passive safety. Head thorax and side airbags combine two airbags into a single system helping to protect the front-seat passengers in the event of a side impact. With an array of standard passive and active safety systems Citigo has been able to achieve a five star Euro NCAP rating (European New Car Assessment Programme). Fog lights integrated in the front bumper increase safety when visibility is reduced. Fog lights are standard on Monte Carlo and SE L and optional on SE models. Active safety Models shown are not UK specification. Parking the Citigo is easy due to its excellent manoeuvrability. There are three parking sensors integrated into the rear bumper, which check the cars distance from any obstacles. Optional on SE and Monte Carlo models, standard on SE L. With ISOFIX and top-tether fixing systems as standard, Citigo has not overlooked the smallest passengers. Citigo also features advanced technology - an optional 'City-safe' brake assist sensor that is designed to monitor the area in front of the vehicle, actively assisting braking at speeds below 19 mph when there is danger of a collision. 8 ŠKODA Citigo Engines and GreenTech GrEENTECH Available on the SE and SE l trim levels is SKODA's GreenTech, which consists of a stop/start system, brake energy recovery, lowered suspension and tyres with reduced rolling resistance. Stop/start During waiting times at red traffic lights or whilst sitting in traffic, the engine will switch off automatically, restarting as soon as the driver presses the clutch (or steps off the brake). Automatic (ASG) Gears are selected automatically and leaving the driver to just choose D - drive, N - neutral and R reverse. Gear changes are based on various settings - dependent on driving style and vehicle acceleration. Recovery is another intelligent technology making use of the energy used for driving. Whenever the driver steps off the accelerator or presses the brake pedal (during coasting and braking phases), the battery is charged. On subsequent acceleration or at constant speed, voltage can then be decreased, helping to reduce the strain on the engine. The 1.0-litre threecylinder engine is available as a 60PS or 75PS. These small petrol engines are extremely flexible, enabling agile driving around town or outside the city. Semi-automatic transmission Models shown are not UK specification
