2 Highlights. Powerful TSI engine The 4-cylinder TSI engine in the Polo effortlessly blends high performance with superb fuel efficiency. With 160 Nm of torque available, it delivers strong acceleration in all driving situations. LED headlamps Compared to conventional headlamps, LED headlamps are more efficient and generate illumination that is similar to daylight. The LED daytime running lights also have a distinctive signature. Panoramic sunroof Open it up to get some fresh air in the cabin, or leave it closed and enjoy the extra light that streams in. A sliding sunshade keeps the interior of the Polo cool, even on the hottest days. Climatronic air conditioning system Easily set your preferred temperature with the fully automatic Climatronic system. Its sophisticated sensors constantly monitor the cabin temperature so everyone on board is comfortable. Touchscreen driver interface Everything at your fingertips: the new generation infotainment system with a high-resolution 5-inch colour display features quick processing and an extremely user-friendly interface. 16-inch alloy wheels The Polo comes standard with stylish 16-inch alloy wheels and 215/45 R16 tyres. These contribute to the car s precise handling and also improve stability when driving at higher speeds. Laser welding Unlike most other cars which are built using conventional spot welds, the Polo features laser welding technology for its roof. The result - greater strength and a perfectly smooth finish. Brake disc wipers In heavy rain, the brake pads are automatically applied to the discs at prescribed intervals to wipe away the unwanted film of water. This allows the full braking effect to be available faster. Safety. Airbags An advanced airbag system ensures that all occupants are well protected in an impact. The Polo has 6 airbags, including side curtain airbags that cover both front and rear passengers. ESP The ESP system keeps the Polo stable even in extreme driving conditions. It adjusts the engine s output and brakes individual wheels when it detects skidding, so the driver stays in control.
