Each heat pipe condenser tightly plugs into a heat pipe port that is brazed to the twin header pipes. The rubber ring prevents the heat pipe from sliding down and also provides protection to the top of the evacuated tube. The header is sandwiched between two layers of compressed recycled glass wool, providing excellent insulation. The manifold outer casing is available in powder coated aluminium or stainless steel -- both of which provide excellent corrosion resistance -- with the aluminum casing providing the choice of several different colors.

By locating the heat pipe directly against the tube wall, heat transfer is both efficient and fast.
