2 OUR COMPANY Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) was established in 1917 in Guelph, Ontario and has grown from a small family owned business in the short wave radio market, to the industry leader in magnetic transformer design and manufacturing. HPS has manufacturing facilities in Compton, California; Guelph, Ontario; Walkerton, Ontario; Granby, Quebec; and Monterrey, Mexico. HPS currently has multiple regional distribution centers throughout North America. All units are encapsulated with electrical grade silica sand and resin compounds, which completely enclose the core and coil to seal out moisture, airborne contaminants and eliminates corrosion and deterioration. 4 HPS FORTRESS TM FEATURES Totally enclosed to seal out moisture and airborne contaminants. Rear and side entry conduit knockouts into an easily accessible and roomy wiring compartment. Installation made quick and easy with keyhole mounting slots and supplied wall mounting template. NEMA 4/12 enclosure rating available when optional gasket kit is installed. NEMA 3R enclosure meets or exceeds listing criteria including NEMA and ANSI standards for indoor and outdoor applications. All units are encapsulated with electrical grade silica sand and resin compounds. Easily accessible nameplate. All three phase units come standard with two nameplates.
