The circular coiled strips will be taken-up, in horizontal position, from the spool head and, by means of hydraulically actuated expanding mandrel, they will be tensioned with the loosely mountable front flange simultaneously so that, during the operation, the circular coiled strips or bale fastening straps will be limited between front and rear flange of the spool head and can run off in tangential position, being guided via guide rollers. The pneumatically actuated feed will be realized by means of precision fine feed pressure controller. The oscillation deflection is approx. 200 mm so that the band controlling length is approx. 400 mm. The final position monitoring comprises the strip brake monitoring. All the function blocks and transducers for the center point regulation are considered in the controls. The same goes for detecting the operating speed. The dancer rollers have a diameter of 250 mm. They are of aluminum and coated with zirconium oxide. Design characteristics The machine housing consists of a solid, ribbed steel weldment designed for precise take-up operations. The profiled material will be taken-up, in horizontal position, onto the spool and,by means of hydraulically actuated expanding mandrel, which exerts tension in order to hold and take-up the material during operation. The spool has been designed to take-up strip profiles. It consists of a stationary rear flange to which the spool core segments are mounted. A special prismatic design of the spool core segments, cause the core to contract in order to release the coil. Special slots and respective channels in the flanges and the core segments enable strapping of the coil on the spool. For layer layer winding the Spooler Take-up prescribes an oscillating motion. The electric equipment is installed in a switch cabinet and ready for connection. 13 Double-disc Drawing Capstan with Oscillating Spooler Designed for drawing profiled wires. The two wire-drawing disks are driven and cooled by water. To prevent edge damage to the wire on the draw disks, the second disk can be swiveled hydraulically. Drawing dies or trailing cable devices can be used alternatively to produce profiles. The oscillating layer-layer spooler is equipped with a dismountable patent spool for the production of coils. 16 Profile rolling system HPW 200 Rolling-mill stand The mill stand has been constructed, by means of special tie bolts, as pre-tensioned machine unit for the clearance-free pressure-absorption of the roll bearing. To the upper part of the mill stands has been mounted the motive roll advance. In this connection, by means of servomotors, the front and the rear roll bearing will be advanced separately with subsequently added precision spindles. The roll advancing operation will be monitored through incremental encoders and so the same will also be appropriate for minimum dimensional tolerance precision. All the dimensional adjustments are getting visible through indications. All the correcting adjustments at the roll advances are possible during the rolling operation. For conducting, during the rolling process, the material to be rolled as precise as possible in the roll pass opening, at the roll inlet and outlet are installed guide jaws with low rate of wear which prevent, at the reduction, a lateral deflection of the material to be rolled. For the fine adjustment of the profile grinding of upper and lower roll to each other, the upper roll has been supported in special dovetailed guides so that, by means of a scaled hand wheel adjustment, the upper roll can be displaced laterally to the lower roll. For the roll change will be used the integrated roll changing device. The same enables shortest roll changing periods and operator-friendly readjustment of the ground off rolling tools. The rolling machine base frame has been manufactured as individual component according to the building-block system and, when extending the machine, the same can be bolted together, for a bending-rigid substructure being poor in vibration, with other individual components to the machine bed for the complete rolling system. For cleaning the finished product, to the rolling mill stand has been mounted an emulsion scraping and blowing-off device. The fittings and pipelines, depending on the unit and provided for cooling the material by means of emulsion, are part of the scope of delivery. Protective devices against emulsion vapours and emulsion escape in the rolling range are part of the machine equipment. The connections for installing an emulsion vapour suction system in the filter are provided in the machine housing. The system has been designed in module construction and permits the extension with various horizontal and vertical rolling mill stands as well as other additional attachments. The speed control of the individual stands will be realized by means of dancer control. The dancer control units are designed as pneumatically actuated short stroke dancers. Between two support rollers as been mounted a swivelling arm, at the end of which has been arranged a width-adjustable rolling stock guide roller. As in the rotation centre of the swivelling arm a regulating potentiometer picks-off the swivelling arm deflection, a very precise drive regulation of the individual driven machines will be guaranteed.
