FloControl works closely with world class global valve manufacturers FlowCon, Afriso Gampper and VIR as well as a network of specialist supply partners to deliver off the shelf and bespoke FCU, Chilled Beam, Radiant Panel, AHU and Trench Heater valve set solutions to meet specific customer requirements. The Compact ABV & 4-Port FCU Valve Set is easy to select and comes preassembled, tested, set and Ready To Fit. It fits directly over the FCU drip tray with 40mm centres. The Compact ABV & 4- Port Range is particularly suited for small spaces and slim line units. A wide range of connections and module extensions is available, e.g. air vents or strainers, whilst the compact size of the valve set is maintained. The module includes the valves and components required to dynamically flush the FCU backward, forward or externally, purge, vent, automatically balance the system and control the maximum flow rate with + 5% accuracy at the FCU. 3 INNOVATIVE AND MULTI-FUNCTIONAL FLOWCON AUTOMATIC BALANCING & CONSTANT FLOW VALVE RANGE AT THE HEART OF THE VALVE SET MODULE 2 IN 1 SOLUTION ABV WITH INTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE COMPOSITE INSERT RANGE ABV WITH EXTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE E-JUST INSERT RANGE At the heart of the Compact ABV 4-Port FCU Module is a wide choice of FlowCon removable externally and internally adjustable Pressure Independent Automatic Balancing Valves, designed to provide automatic balancing and constant flow at the maximum flow rate setting selected for the valve. The ABV includes an innovative self-adjustment feature enabling each valve to continuously self-balance, which ensures the precise delivery of the pre-selected flow rate required by each terminal unit, independent of pressure fluctuations in the hydronic system. EXTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE ABV E-JUST INSERT The ABV is designed over 41 maximum flow rate settings between [ l/s], suitable for heating and cooling applications [-20 to +100 C]. The ABV has an easily removable insert to ensure a trouble free filling and flushing operation. Flowrates can easily be adjusted. PAGE 3

4 COMPACT ABV 4-PORT FCU VALVE SETS ARE DESIGNED TO SIMPLIFY SELECTION, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING, CONTROL & MAINTENANCE The Compact FCU ABV & 4 Port VALVE SET is designed to include all of the required valves and features for easy selection, installation, commissioning, control and maintenance. With union connections at every joint and valve bodies with removable and interchangable inserts the concept allows for a totally versatile approach to designing the valve set for both heating and cooling duties. To simplify the approach the Valve Set is described and quoted as 3 elements: 1. Valve Set including ABV Insert 2. 4-Port Valve including Actuator 3.
