9 WIRE RACK SCALE ACE WIRE RACK SCALE SYSTEM > Exclusively Through Essex Brownell ACE Equipment Company and Essex Brownell have designed a unique scale system for weighing magnet wire stored on a wire rack. The scale system comes with a meter which allows a customer the ability to weigh and calculate the total amount of wire stored on their wire rack. The scale system can be used with any wire rack that will fit on the scale. Dimension: Model ESS-41: 4 W x 5 L x 3 H Model ESS-42: 5 W x 6 L x 3 H Calculate How Much Wire You Have! Customers can now know exactly how much wire they have at any time, and can easily calculate how much wire has been used for any winding job. The total amount of wire on the rack is weighed. The meter mounted to the Model ESS-41 and ESS-42 can be zeroed out and used to weigh one pail of wire or 40. The capacity of the ESS Scale System is up to 5,000 pounds. 13 These Nexjen Systems High Performance CB & DB Series Test Supplies provide infinitely variable voltage adjustments on both the DC Field and the AC Armature Supply. They are specifically designed for Motor and Transformer testing. AC starting on the incremental outputs is provided by a soft starter and +/- 10% input taps are included on the testing transformer to compensate for supply input variations. LED instrumentation allows for monitoring of the outputs in use. Model 166KVA-SS KVA AC DC Motor Test Supply with the full test documentation system. This is a compact power supply for testing requirements of small to medium size motor shops. AC voltages are provided with soft starting on each incremental output. Integrated inrush current protection is provided by the soft starter. A variable DC Field supply is provided with Field Loss protection and overcurrent protection. Field operation is allowed with either the AC Supply or DC Armature outputs. A DC Armature supply with four variable ranges and overcurrent protection is included. DC Field and DC armature operations are safety interlocked. All panel outputs are push button activated with red LED metering for continuous display of output voltages and currents. A red strobe lamp illuminates on any panel output. Plus and minus 10% taps are provided on the testing autotransformer for adjustment of input voltage to the supply.

15 CAM INNOVATION > BTU100 Band Tension Unit The BTU100 is a self-contained unit used to apply controlled tension to wire or tape when banding armatures. The unit accepts glass fiber tape up to 30 mm wide and both round and flat steel wire. Tension Control Tension is monitored continuously by a hydraulic sensing head fitted with a calibrated manual dial display. Variable tape tensions can be set and a quick release is actuated to release tension at the end of the banding cycle. Tension Adjustment Tension can be easily varied via adjustments made to the tension reel arrangement. Straightening Straightening rollers, pre-tension pads, and guide rollers are provided for banding with wire. Flexible Mounting The BTU100 can be simply floor mounted, fitted to the saddle of an existing winding machine, or incorporated with the TS traversing saddle to offer a complete solution. The traversing saddle is easily moved smoothly along the horizontal axis via a manually operated gear and chain driven rack and pinion. The standard traverse length is 1500 mm however other lengths can be made to order.
