1 UF- FLOWMETER (SMALL CAPACITY) METER SIZE, GENERAL SPECIFICATION GS.No.GBL--E GENERAL The UF-II Series is a new positive displacement flowmeter developed specifically to serve as the heart in loading facilities at oil product depots. Contained in the measuring chamber are a pair of rotors having special spiral gear teeth, the design of which is responsible for successfully eliminating pulsations in the flow stream. The results are exceptionally low vibration and noise levels and high metering accuracy even in low flowrate ranges. FEATURES. Uniform rotation, uniform flow rate, and uniform torque. Our specially contoured gear tooth rotors have achieved () uniform rotor rotation, () uniform flow rate of flow stream with no pulsation, and () uniform rotational torque. No energy transfer takes place between a pair of rotors.. Exceptionally low noise and vibration levels.. Construction is simple with no pilot gears required.. Long service life. Because of the absence of slippage between the rotor gear teeth in mesh, it offers exceptionally long life.. Permits large flow rate measurements for its compact size. Capabilities of producing a greater discharge per rotor revolution and of spinning at a comparatively higher R.P.M. than comparable rotor designs have made possible large volume measurements for its small size.. Smooth and uniform rotor rotation produces stable and precise pulse generation.. Uniform rotation means low pressure loss across the meter.. Can fit a wide variety of registers, pulse generators and other instruments compatible with other flowmeters.
