It was this demand for a reliable and cost effective source of sheet metal that gave birth to SMC Manufacturing.

Today SMC boasts a 4500m 2 factory and employs a staff of 80 skilled workers with SMC Pneumatics no longer being our sole client.

Such industries are hospitality, white goods, water and pool heating, air conditioning, gaming machines, food processing equipment, manufacturing components and electrical switch gear enclosures,

In 1984, SMC Pneumatics was waiting up to 8 weeks for delivery of sheet metal components. It was this demand for a reliable and cost effective source of sheet metal that gave birth to SMC Manufacturing. In the early days SMC had 20 or so employees with basic machinery purely to meet the requirements of SMC Pneumatics, all housed in a 900m 2 factory. Today SMC boasts a 4500m 2 factory and employs a staff of 80 skilled workers with SMC Pneumatics no longer being our sole client. As a leading sheet metal manufacturer in Sydney, SMC now supplies manufactured components to a large range of industries both domestically and internationally. Such industries are hospitality, white goods, water and pool heating, air conditioning, gaming machines, food processing equipment, manufacturing components and electrical switch gear enclosures, just to name a few. A main contributor to the success of SMC in the sheet metal industry is our commitment to machinery and keeping up to date with new manufacturing processes. This dedication to our machinery allows SMC to keep prices down and maintain competitive lead times for our customers.
