4 intruction LORO-X teel dicharge pipe DN 70 - DN 200 LORO-X teel dicharge pipe are planned and intalled in accordance with the technical rule and regulation of DIN EN (Gravity Drainage Sytem inide Building) and DIN 1986 Part 3, 4 and (Drainage Sytem for Land and Building); DIN 4102 (Fire Prevention in Building) and DIN 4109 (Noie Control in Building) are to be oberved amongt other. 1. Manufacture of the puh-fit ocket connection 1.1 Place ealing element in inclined poition on the edge of the ealing chamber. Ue only original LORO-X ealing element. Store LORO-X ealing element at room temperature for eaier aembly Puh in top ealing element with your finger and let it engage in the ealing chamber until the collar of the ealing element lie level on the ocket edge. Smear only original LORO-X lubricant no. 986X or 9861X over the entire urface on the inide of the ealing element and the outide of the inert pipe. The ue of other lubricant can lead to impairment. 1.3 Line up the ocket and inert pipe and puh together. Twit gently to ecure. Puh the inert pipe in a far a the ocket bae. Surplu lubricant i to be removed. When intalling pipe of a larger nominal ize (DN DN 200), an aembly aid can be borrowed from the factory. 1.3 Direction of flow 1.4 Finihed LORO-X ocket joint complie with DIN 1986 (durable tightne for internal and external gauge preure of bar) If higher preure are expected, the ocket joint can be ecured by the LORO-X anchor clip, no. 806X (DN 40 DN 125) or by the LORO-X anchor hoop, no. 808X (DN 150 DN 200). Ue the LORO-XCL anchor clip, no C with tainle teel pipe. Tighten the crew of the LORO-X or LORO-XCL anchor clip evenly to 30 Nm. 5 2. Cutting to length LORO-X pipe can be bet cut to length with a pipe cutter with 3 or 4 harp cutting wheel and without guide roller. The pipe can alo be cut to length at a right angle to the pipe axi with an angle grinder or aw (in the cae of the LORO-XCL tainle teel pipe, ue HSS fine-toothed aw blade and a cutting peed of 7-10 m/min). Deburr the inert end inide and out. At the cut urface the urrounding zinc layer provide for cathodic protection and prevent under-ruting. When cutting to length uing an angle grinder with ubequent chamfering of the cut urface, it i recommended to provide the chamfered area with zinc plating. LORO-X pipe can be upplied with two ocket up to DN. Thi prevent wate piece without ocket being produced when cutting to length. The cut-to-length pipe end with ocket can be ued a adaptor. Wate i reduced a a reult. If a pipe ection ha no ocket, add a LORO-X double ocket no. 560X, to turn it into a ocket pipe. Glue the double ocket onto the remaining pipe with the LORO-X ealing element, no. 911X, and LORO-X adheive no. 985X. Socket in frot-expoed area (including double ocket) mut not be facing the oppoite way to the flow direction. 3. Fatening The following weight mut be taken into account for the fatening of LORO rain tandpipe and rainwater downpipe. Weight of 1 m pipe completely filled with water: DN 70 approx. 6.8 kg DN 80 approx. 9.3 kg DN approx kg DN 125 approx kg DN 150 approx kg DN 200 approx kg 4. Releaing the ocket joint Heat the inert pipe well with a oft oldering flame cloe to the ocket rim until the pipe can be pulled out of the ocket. The tip of the flame hould be about 10 cm away from the pipe to be heated. After that, replace the ealing element in all cae. 5. Connection to rainwater downpipe The ocket of LORO rain tandpipe are formed a LORO-X long ocket in the ize DN 70, 80,, 125 and 150. For connection to rainwater downpipe made from zinc, copper, PVC or LORO-X teel dicharge pipe, ee overview "Connection of rainwater downpipe to LORO rain tandpipe ocket". The pigot end of the rainwater downpipe i to be cleanly deburred and if neceary chamfered in order to avoid damage to the ealing element. In the cae of platic downpipe, the greater elongation compared to teel in the cae of temperature fluctuation mut be taken into account. Therefore the pigot end mut not be inerted right to the bae of the ocket. 6. Connection to underground pipe/ underground intallation In order to enable a tandard-compliant connection of the LORO rain tandpipe and rainwater downpipe to the underground pipe, appropriate connector mut be ued. LOROWERK offer LORO-X connector for the variou pipe material and nominal diameter (ee overview below: "Connector for tranition from LORO rain tandpipe to underground pipe"). If connector and/or tandpipe are located in the oil, the cutomer mut provide the exterior urface of the pipe urrounded by oil with anti-corroion protection according to DIN Painting Ue paint pecially deigned for hot-dip galvanized ubtrate. 8. Other fitting intruction 1. Pipe expoed to corroion by electrical current, corroive liquid, gae or fume, mut be protected in a uitable manner. 2. Pipe with corroion protection (hot-dip galvaniing with added inide coating) cannot be welded. 3. Socket in frot-expoed area (including double ocket) mut not be facing the oppoite way to the flow direction. 9.
