CONDITIONS 2.1 The City is seeking to obtain one (1). 2.2 The City will be offering for trade one (1) 1985 Caterpillar 140, serial number 72V The unit can be of any manufacture and should be generally equivalent to a John Deere 770G. The City may consider bids for a new unit, a demonstrator unit, or a lightly used unit with minimal engine hours and full factory warranty. The City may consider bids for a unit that deviates to some extent in equivalency if it proves to be in the best interest of the City to do so. 2.4 Potential suppliers may submit multiple bids in the event that several units meeting specifications are available. A separate tender form must be completed in full for each bid and labeled TENDER A, TENDER B, etc and submitted separately. 2.5 The SPECIFICATIONS must be filled in as completely as possible for each item. Minimum or required items are noted as such. Preferred specifications are also noted as such. These are not essential requirements but rather indicate the City s general preference. If additional space is required to properly describe the equipment, attach additional pages as necessary. Brochures or specifications may be attached as supplemental information only tender forms must be filled out completely. 2.6 All prices shall be quoted in Canadian funds. 2.7 The GST is to be shown separately; include your GST registration number on Form of. 2.8 At the time of delivery, the City shall be supplied with one (1) service manual, one (1) operator s manual and one (1) parts manual, in both hardcopy and digital format. 2.9 At the time of delivery the supplier shall provide onsite training/instruction for both operation and maintenance. 3

11 3.13 Delivery/Training - At the time of delivery the supplier shall provide onsite training/instruction for both operation and maintenance. 4. FORM OF TENDER I/We,, hereinafter called the Supplier, hereby undertake to deliver to the, hereinafter called the City, the goods and/or services described at the prices shown herein, within days of acceptance of this tender by the City, delivered to the City Public Works/Parks yard, #55 Sixteenth Street, Weyburn Saskatchewan. Prices are to include all charges including duty and excise tax, PST and GST, for delivery in Saskatchewan. The Supplier agrees to replace any goods found to be defective or that fail to meet the Specifications herein by reason of poor material, design, faulty workmanship or transport damage. Any dispute arising out of the acceptance of this tender shall be decided by the City Manager or City Council, in that order, and the supplier agrees to these arrangements. 11
