1 Pre-Qualification- Cum Bid Notice BANK OF BARODA, Baroda Corporate Centre, C-26, G Block, Bandra Kurla complex, Bandra (East), MUMBAI ( - em.bcc@bankofbaroda.com) invites sealed bids for supply installation Testing Commissioning and maintenance of 40 KVA UPS for its branch/office situated at Mehar Chambers, Ballard Pier, Mumbai, on lease from established/approved contractors having sufficient experience in the respective field. Eligible contractors may apply along with required supporting documents prescribed in prequalification documents as per guidelines as well as other instructions of the bank. Address: Bank of Baroda 105, Maker Chambers III Nariman Point, Mumbai Pre qualification criteria for the said job are as under: Three *similar completed works each costing not less than ` 9,00,000/-. OR Two *similar completed works each costing not less than ` 11,00,000/-. OR One *similar completed work each costing not less than ` 18,00,000/-. *Similar Work: Supply, installation testing, commissioning and maintenance of UPS on Lease Basis. Terms & conditions are detailed hereunder- 1. The bidder shall not make any correction/alteration on these documents. All rates shall be quoted (in figures & words) inclusive of excise duties, taxes, octroi, vat and other charges as applicable till date. Any suggestions to change terms and conditions of the bid will not be entertained. The rate quoted shall remain firm during the period of 5years from the date of commencement of the contract. 2. Bidders to submit EMD for Rs 25000/- by way of DD/BC favouring Bank of Baroda payable at Mumbai along with the technical part of the bid. Offers with out EMD for the value and manner in which it is sought shall be liable for rejection. EMD shall be converted into security deposit and kept in Bank s custody till completion of the contract. EMD shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders immediately after finalising the contract. In case the lowest bidder backs out Bank shall be entitled to forfeit the amount deposited by them. 3. The bidder must obtain for himself, on his own responsibility and his own expenses, all information which may be necessary for the purpose of filling this bid and for entering into a contract for the execution of the work. Page1 4. All the pages of the bid document should be duly signed and sealed by the authorised signatory. Conditional bid will be rejected.

In case of any dispute, the same shall be referred to the General Manager, Estate Management & Security, BCC and his decision shall be final and binding on both the parties as per the provisions of Arbitration act. 6. Within 20 days of acceptance of bid, successful bidder will have to arrange to supply and install the UPS as per bank s requirement. Bidder will have to install the UPS properly and make all arrangements at their own cost for smooth and satisfactory supply of power through UPS. 7. All expenses regarding supplying installing testing commissioning and maintenance of UPS shall be borne by bidder including replacement of the batteries during the period/ extended period of contract. Bidder shall have to arrange alternate arrangement of UPS, in case of failure of the UPS they have already installed. 8. The UPS supplied by the bidder must be insured and Bank will not be responsible for any damages that happen because of natural calamities or accidents. 9. Bidder will have to take due care for safety of the UPS. Bank will not be responsible for damage/ loss in any way. 10. Bank of Baroda is not bound to accept the lowest bid or any other bid and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids either in part, without assigning any reason whatsoever. 11. Payment Terms: a. First 6 month s payment shall be released in advance after completing all contractual formalities b. From 7 th month onwards the payment shall be released on monthly basis (by end of the month) on submission of Tax invoice along with status report to our office. 12. The successful bidder should execute an agreement with Bank immediately after accepting the offer. 13. The successful bidder is supposed to maintain uptime of 99% which will be calculated in the manner in which it has been specified in the bid. In case of failure to meet the uptime as specified above, penalty shall be 5% of the quoted rate for every 1% drop in uptime while settling monthly bills to a maximum of 25% of the quoted rate. 14. Bidders should arrange for the necessary ventilation for their batteries and other equipments. Instrument blowers that can work for 24x7 continuously which is specially designed for the purpose of cooling by blowing forced air that runs on UPS only need to be used. 15. All the documents requested in the bid notice shall be submitted by the bidder. Any such bid lacking the necessary documents will be summarily rejected. 16. Bank will provide the space required for this installation and will not bare any extra expenses incurred by the bidder for making good the site to meet SLA parameters. The rate quoted by the bidder in Annexure P will be final. Eligible vendors may apply submitting their detailed quotations in two BID system i.e. Technical bid as well as financial bid. Page2

3 Technical bid should contain documents as detailed hereunder, EMD for ` 25000/- by way of Bankers cheque / DD favouring Bank of Baroda, payable at Mumbai. This prequalification cum Bid notice Document. Along with the bank s pre qualification document (Annexure I), certified copies of work order, performance certificate, balance sheet etc. Detailed information about UPS propose to be provided and as per Annexure Y. Financial Bid Financial bid (in separate envelope) should clearly indicate the rates, charges, monthly rent etc in accordance with the technical specification of the UPS given in the bid. The technical bid as well as financial bid should be sealed in two different envelopes super scribing technical bid as well as financial bid on respective envelope. 7 2. 40 KVA HOT STAND BY UPS SPECIFICATION: Parallel By- pass line for maintenance and breakdown UPS should have two inverters, one online and one standby (for maintenance or breakdown purposes). This set up can be arranged by having one rectifier and two inverter model or two separate rectifier-inverter model. In any case there is likely to be only one set of battery for both the inverters. Bidder is required to fill in details in the table below.
