Since its relocation to Cummins Mega Site, located at Phaltan in the year 2016, 3000 plus engineers, technicians and customers have been trained at the new facility named as Cummins Technical Training Centre. The facility offers training for the entire range of Cummins Engines from 1.3 liter to 50 liter including alternator and controls. The facility is spread over 3000 square meters, is equipped with the state of the art equipment and live engine models offering the following features. Live Engines for a hands-on learning experience on diagnostics and troubleshooting competencies Exclusive Electronic Laboratory to provide training on Cummins Power-Gen Controls of DG sets. Filtration Knowledge Centre and Valvoline Lube Station with interactive consoles to enhance capability on importance of engine systems. Immersion rooms for BHARAT STAGE IV emission compliant electronic engines with Selective Catalytic Reduction and Exhaust Gas Recirculation system. On display are cut-away section of key components of the Selective Catalytic Reduction and, the New Cummins Fuel Pump and Injector. With upgraded training techniques, and adapting to emergent technologies, Cummins Technical Training Centre is equipped to cater to customers from diverse business segments, offering a hands- on exposure to LIVE ENGINES and interactive work stations, and connected components. The live modules of BHARAT STAGE IV engines with vehicle simulation give the learner an unmatched learning experience and boundless confidence. The facility has incorporated a Model Component Care Centre that facilitates inspection and testing of vital components namely, Turbocharger, Fuel system and Emission Components, equipping the user superior skill sets on diagnostics. Course Code : KRE Cummins Diesel Engine Rebuild KT / KTA 1150 / KTA 19 Series Course material fees: 42, ( 36, Fee + 6, GST*) This course is designed for users involved in Cummins KT/KTA1150 / KTA 19 Series engine rebuilding and rework of engine components. At the conclusion of the course, the participant would be familiar with assembly and disassembly of KT/ KTA1150 / KTA 19 Series engine according to rebuild standard with the recommended service tools. of engine components. The controls involved are Powercom and different types of Power Command Controls based on KVA rating with related software such as C-View and Inpower used for calibration, engine and alternator adjustments, data monitor and logging. Also the hands on training on the Powercom training station and PCC simulator will be made available. Who can attend? The participant must be well conversant in basics of electrical, electronics, Alternator and computer MS office. Who can attend? The participant should have undergone engine maintenance course EMCE / EMGE Course Code : NVRE Cummins Diesel Engine Rebuild N and V Series Course material fees: 42, ( 36, Fee + 6, GST*) This course is designed for users involved in Cummins N & V Series engine rebuilding and rework Hands on training 4

5 Eligibility and Enrollment Procedure 1.Eligibility: Candidates should be sponsored by actual users of Cummins engines, employees of the sponsoring organization only will be eligible. 2.Criteria: Enrollment forms duly signed and stamped by the HR / Maintenance / Training department will be considered for enrollment. 3. Enrollment Procedure: On completion of step 1 and 2. please submit the enrollment form along with training fees to the Cummins Area Service Manager (ASM) or Cummins Training & Quality Manager (TQM) representing your area. Contact information namely mobile number, address of the concerned officer of your Zone / Area is furnished along side for easy reference. Important: Please do not send enrollment form / payment to Technical Training Center directly. 4. Payment Terms: Training fees MUST BE submitted along with the PO & enrollment form. Payment can be made vide Cheque / Draft. The instrument should be drawn favoring Cummins India Ltd payable at Pune. Payment will also be accepted vide electronic transfer. You can request for NEFT document from Cummins Area Service Manager (ASM) or Cummins Training & Quality Manager (TQM) representing your area. Quotation can be issued for processing payment. Final invoice will be generated on commencement of training and will be handed over to the attending candidate for onward submission to the company. 5. Seat Allocation : Allocation of seats will be done on First Come First Serve Basis. Number of seats available for each training is 20. Please ensure that your enrollment request is sent to the Cummins Area Service Manager (ASM) or Cummins Training & Quality Manager (TQM) at least 4 weeks prior to the training date. Seats will be allocated to those candidates whose payment has been received along with the enrollment form / request. In case of cancellation of training due to low enrollment, candidates can be accommodated into a subsequent training bearing the same course code. Communication to this effect will be provided to you. 6. Training Address: Training will be conducted at our Technical Training center at the following address: Cummins India Ltd DBU Technical Training Center Plot no. Special Training at site or at Cummins Training courses designed to suit every individual customer s requirements, can be arranged at customer site or at our Training Center. Fee structure will be different for special training Courses. Course Material The required training material and literature will be provided to each candidate. Few Instruction to note & follow All participants shall come with safety shoes, which is mandatory. Candidates attending training without safety shoes will not be taken for shop floor. Timing 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Attendance is mandatory for all days. The medium of instruction is represented by the last alphabet in the course code e.g. EMGE. Where E is English Technical Training Center is non-residential. candidates have to arrange for their own accommodation. Near by hotel address details provided on page no.9.
