General introduction and characters The motor-driven unlock double-cylinder lift is made by taking the strong points of different types of lifts both abroad and domestic. After proved by great data and long-time tiredness test, it has been proved to be stable, reliable, safe and convenient. The power-driven hydraulic system is made of imported components which can lift stably. Big content pumping station can lift and down at high speed with very low voice. Power-driven unlock free you of the trouble of unlocking by hand. Bursting-preventing valve or throttle is used in the tie-in of oil cylinder. The double insurance of mechanical and hydraulic make it convenient and safe, which makes it the first choice of vehicle repairing, maintaining or cleaning. According to different commands of different customers, we can produce different types of lifts. The types of this series are suitable for the lifting, maintaining and repairing of 3.5T, 4T, 5T cars, buses, trucks or those lower than these weights. Double insurance in all procedure is used in 5T lift, with the slides prolonged to be 1500mm. Mechanical lock and bursting-proof valve can make sure the safety of the machine. Please use it without worry. Working-table driving principle: Press the rising button, the contactor pull-in, the electromotor is driven, the electromotor drives the oil pump. Through single-phase valve and oil pipe, hydraulic oil is sent to the bottom of the oil cylinder. With the oil pressure, the piston rod is driven. Meanwhile, through steel thread and thread wheel group, the oil cylinder driveto make the bracket rise. The car is risen. Press the down button, the relay is driven, the mechanical lock is open after rising 2 seconds. Meanwhile, the oil returning magnetic valve is open. With the weight of the risen car on working table, the hydraulic oil in the bottom of the oil cylinder is pressed into the cylinder. The car is down. When repairing the car, press lock button. Oil-returning magnetic valve is driven, the magnet on mechanical lock is not driven(the mechanical lock is not open.) The slide is down, and with its own weight and the bounce of magnetic spring, the slide is locked by the mechanical lock. The operation can be done safely. 5

6 Ⅴ. Installation and debugging Read the operation manual carefully before the fixing of the machine to make clear about the structure of the machine, to check whether the machine is damaged on transportation and loading or unloading, to check whether the components are full or not, and then fix and modify the machine. 1) The machine should be fixed on dry ground with less than 5mm level error without dust or other pollution. The earth of the concrete should be thicker than 200mm and the strength should be 3000PSI (2.1Kg/MM2). The basic size of the ground should be of 4000MM length, 1000MM width, 350MM depth. It is suggested to fix concrete iron to improve the fastness of the ground. (See the ground fixing table). Notice to choose proper ground fixing table according to the machine chosen. 7 1) Fix the machine in an indoor environment of no less 1001X intensity of illumination. 2) Make sure the size of fixing position: Two post lift with electrical release 4.0T 7

8 Set up two columns (One with motor base is the main column, which is used to fix the motor base), between which a long cover sheet is put so that the two columns are on one same line position. Then, make a hole with an electric hammer with a 20 impact bit. Use 10 M18X160 setscrew (2 for 5T lift) to fix these two columns which must be vertical to the ground. If the ground is not level up, use thin iron mat to modify. The fixing of the big lift is similar to this one. Portal frame is put between two columns to make them on the same level position. See the appearance size table. 3) Fix and joint in-phase steel thread and long oil pipe: move the cover sheet (the fixing method of the portal frame is the opposite to this one. Please see the steel thread fixing table.), drill the steel thread through the lifting slide in the main column and then, thrill through the steel thread wheel on the bottom of the column into the steel thread wheel in the vice column. Then, drill into the steel thread wheel on the top of the column and fix it in screws of the slide with 2 M16 nuts. Fix the steel thread of the lifting tray in vice column into the slide of the main column in the same way. In order to make it more convenient to modify and fix the steel thread snail, a mat can be used to make the slide higher, and after fixing, take away the mat to check whether the left and the right slides are on the same level. The two slides are required to be on the same level.(see steel rope drawing) After fixing the steel thread, butter should be put on the thread, sliders, slide ways of the column, and engine oil must be put on the axles and insurance places. 9 Drill high pressure oil pipe from the bottom of the main and vice columns from the ground, and contact them with the links of the oil cylinder to prevent oil leakage. 4) Set up hydraulic dynamic pumping station: use 4 M8X35 hex bolt to fix the hydraulic dynamic pumping station on the electric station in the main column. Then, fix it after contact oil pipe to prevent oil leakage(see the hydraulic dynamic pumping station fixing table.) Hydraulic system installation chart Two post lift with electrical release 4.0T 5) Pull hydraulic oil Pull into the cylinder No.46 or No.20 anti-grinding (prepared by users), the height limit is 10mm lower than the mouth, the lowest limit is 50mm from the mouth(to test by the ruler given on the air-cover on the cylinder.). 6) Fixing bracket arms: 4 bracket arms are fixed in the left and right lifting bracket to make the long and short arms are on both sides of the columns. When lifting a car, use short arms to lift the head of the car. 7) See the insurance fixing table. After the fixing, the insurance should be effective, no blockage is allowed. 8) Fix the controlling box and connecting: Between two mechanical insurance in the main columns, the controlling box is fixed with 4 M6X12 inner hexagonal screw. (Pay attention: there is an aviation plug-in board in the hole of the controlling box which is the controlling thread of magnet, limited switches and oil-returning magnetic valve.). All of them are drilled through up C 22 holes and oil pipe slot to the bottom of the cylinder(a hole has been made on the bottom of the cylinder, under the oil pipe tie-in.). It then is connected with electromagnetic iron through the oil pipe slot. The connecting of portal frame is similar to it. (See the electric equipment principle table.) 9

11 9) Turn on the power: insert the power thread plug into the electrical outlet. There must be a circuit switch on the electric source. Turn on the general switch on the controlling box. The power switch light; press the Lift button to see whether the lifting slide can work. If not, change the electric source order to make the engine work and the oil pump give oil normally. When the lifting slide and bracket arms rise, see whether the slides are on the same height level. Meanwhile, listen the voice of the insurance block to judge the position of the slides and then, adjust the steel thread again to make the insurance positions the same and the slides positions the same. Press the Down button, the time relay gets electricity, the mechanical lock, oil returning magnetic valve will be open in 2 seconds. With the weight of the working board and lifted car, oil will be pushed from the bottom of the cylinder to the oil box. When repairing a car, press locking button, oil-returning magnetic valve gets electricity. The mechanical lock does not get electricity. Now, the slides down; with its own weight, mechanical lock will be back to its own position; the slides will be locked by mechanical lock. Operation can be done safely. After finishing above testing, please cover the insurance cover and the controlling box cover. At last, cover the cover plate and see whether it is necessary to lubricate the slide plate rail of the column.

12 10) Cleaning: Lift and down the slides and bracket arms for more times to see whether they can work well. If there is any problem, please use it again after excluding abnormal phenomena according to above steps. At last, cover the cover plate and see whether it is necessary to lubricate the slide plate rail of the column. And lubricate the up and down steel thread wheel axle to reduce abrasion and prolong the longevity. 11) Loading test: Lubricate all necessary points, check whether there is any oil leakage and whether the fixing is stable. If everything is OK, undertake the loading test. The approach is the same to non-loading test. The test can be finished after loading 2-3 times and no abnormal noise or leakage is found, lifting time and height etc. all accord to technical parameters. 12) After loading test, the steel thread will be lengthened a bit. Modify on the working table and repeat the fourth step. The machine can be used again. Ⅵ. Safety system locking unlocking There is an automatic insurance organ for sliding down in this machine. When the oil circuit is overloaded, the anti-pressure-losing and anti-bursting organ and compelling steel thread lifting slide device and oil returning lock will lock the device. Insurance organs are set up in both main and vice columns. To delete the inconvenience of open insurance by hand, a magnetic iron is set on insurance so that the insurance can open automatically. The original tie-in of the cylinder has been changed into anti-bursting valve, mechanical hydraulic protection. Double insurance make the machine really safe. 12

13 Two steel thread make left and right slides on the same level. If they are not, modify the steel thread screw immediately to make them on the same level. Tight the steel threads without laxation. There are locking organs in 4 bracket arms. Whenever it is necessary, they can be locked. The arms can move freely when the slides are on the lowest level. To prevent the sliding down of car in operation, all trays are modified by whorls. It is safe and convenient. P.S. The lifting, insurance, oil-returning of the machine are all done by pressing the buttons. Thus, once the button is loosen, they will be back on their original positions. When the oil pipe is exploded, the lifted car can be locked on the operation position by mechanical lock and anti-bursting valve. Even when both oil pipe and steel thread are out of use, mechanical lock and anti-bursting valve still work. When both the chains and steel thread are out of use, mechanical lock still works. When mechanical lock and oil pipe are out of use, anti-bursting valve can work. So, please use it without worry. Ⅶ.Hydraulic system 13

The piston pole moves, the flooding valve closes, the pressure has been adjusted before the machine is sent out of the manufacturer to meet the commands of lifting proper loading. But, if the pressure is out of its capacity, the unloading of oil will be done automatically by loosening the flooding valve and stopping offering oil. Now, must press the locking button so that two slides can be down at even speed and two insurance devices can be in insurance holes automatically, and the slides will be locked by mechanical locks. After operation, press the Down button and the engine will lift for 2 seconds by the function of the time relay, which makes sure the unlocking can be done smoothly. After 2 seconds, the magnetic iron gets electricity, the insurance is open. Meanwhile, the oil-returning magnetic valve gets electricity and the machine gets down. 14

Operation introduction Please see the button carefully before first using. 1) Before loading a car 1.1 To check whether the engine power is fixed correctly and can work well. 1.2 To lubricate evenly the touching positions of the slide with No.2 lithium oil from up to down. 1.3 Enough hydraulic oil in the oil box. 1.4 To check steel thread, wheels and axles etc. 1.5 To check whether all linking bolts are stable. 2). Operation Before loading a car, lift for about mm to see whether two slides are on the same level. If not, please modify before loading. Drive the car to the middle of two columns and use the grip brake. Adjust the arms, trays to support the car. To check whether there are obstacles around or irrelevant people. Make sure not to overload. Press the Lift button on the controlling box, the touch gets electricity and drive the engine to rotate and draw out hydraulic oil, which will draw through high pressure oil pipe into the cylinder. With the function of the oil pressure, the cylinder can push the piston and piston pole, the slides and bracket arms lift up. 15

16 When repairing a car, press the Locking button to make the oil-returning magnetic valve get electricity. The oil-returning valve opens, the slides get down when the oil circuit lose pressure. Insurance block will be on its own position with the function of spring and its own weight and then lock the slide. After repairing a car, press the Down button, after lifting for 2 seconds, the lift will open insurance automatically and get down. 3).Attention 3.1 Different cars have different center of gravity. Know the center of gravity of a car and make it close to the plane of two columns when the car is driven into the lift. Modify the arms so as to make the supporting point be on the supporting plane of the car. 16

17 3.2 Pay attention to the Notice Signs 3.3 Only professional personnel after training are allowed to maintain the lift. Lubricate all wheels and axles of the machine with No2 lithium oil once a week. Lubricate the moving parts such as insurance rack blocks and up-and-down sliding blocks etc. once a month. Change hydraulic oil once a year. The oil should be kept on the top of the limit. When changing hydraulic oil, pull out all old oil and draw in new oil after it has been filtrated. Each shift should check whether the insurance device is effective. 3.4 To check the moving situation of steel threads often. If there is any damage, change them in time. 3.5 To check oil circuit, cylinder, oil pipe, tie-ins often. 3.6 Hydraulic valves have been modified before the machine is sold to the customers. Users should not modify by themselves. Or, they have to take all responsibilities of modifying them. Ⅸ. Maintaining 1) No dust or obstacle is allowed to be near up-and-down sliding block and wheels. Keep the ground clean, without oil-dot or dust. 2) Lubricate each rotating lock and axle once a week. 3) Change the oil in oil box after initially being used for 3 months. After that, No20 hydraulic oil can be used in winter and No.46 hydraulic oil can be used in summer. When changing oil, clean the oil box, filtrate, and oil circuit. 4) Keep hydraulic oil in up limit. 5) Check those available positions such as steel thread and fixing positions often. If anything bellow happens, change the steel thread immediately: 17

18 5.1 The steel thread is broken. 5.2 More than 9 or 20 threads within the length of 80mm have been broken. 5.3 Due to abrasion, the external diameter has been reduced more than 15% Many threads are broken in one thigh or in very short length. 5.5 Two safety locks should be in the rack square holes at the same time. If not, adjust the steel thread to make sure the machine can operate safely. 5.6 Regulator should be used when the local pressure is 10% higher than regular one. 5.7 Check the screws regularly after used for a while. 5.8 Change oil-free axle cover in every joint after the machine has been used for 3 years or 5000 times. Ⅹ. Problem and solution Ⅺ. Safety attention 1) Read the operation manual carefully before operation. No one without reading the manual is allowed to operate. 2) Eliminate obstacles around the machine before operation. 3) No person is near the machine when lifting. No person is in the car to be lifted. 4) The car to be lifted should be within the weight limitation of the machine. 5) Use the grip brake of the car before lifting. Check and make sure the locking device of the arms can work before lifting. 6) Make sure two insurance blocks are in the square racks before repairing a car. 7) Cut off electricity when the lift is out of use. 8) After being used for a period of time, the steel threads will be lengthened in some degree so as to make two slides not on the same level. Adjust the steel thread till the slides on the 18

19 same level. 9) Maintain the machine according to this manual. Check and maintain important positions often. 10) Fire-preventing devices such as fire extinguisher should be prepared when using the machine. (Prepared by users) 11) In 380V electric source position, 10A protection switch is needed(prepared by users.). The switch should not be far away from the machine for 50 meters. Ⅻ.Noise The noise of the machine when it works is lower than 75dB(A). 19
