21 Installation Information Series D3 Fluid Recommendations remium quality hydraulic oil with a viscosity range between SSU (32-54 cst) at 38 C (1 F) is recommended. he absolute operation viscosity range is from 8-1 SSU (16-22 cst). Oil should have maimum anti-wear properties and rust and oidation treatments. Fluids and Seals Valves using synthetic, fire-resistant fluids require special seals. When phosphate ester or its blends are used, FLUOROCRON seals are required. Water-glycol, water-in-oil emulsions, and petroleum oil may be used with NIRILE seals. emperature Recommendation Recommended oil temperature: -7 to +71 C (-2 to +16 F) Filtration For maimum valve and system component life, the system should be protected at a contamination level not to eceed 125 particles greater than 1 microns per milliliter of fluid.
