2 R /06.9 Fuctional description, section, symbols ressure valve model D are pilot operated pressure cut-off valves. he purpose is to permit pump flow into the accumulator circuit until the accumulator is charged and the necessary pressure achieved. In systems with high and low pressure pumps, the low pressure pump flow is directed to tank if the switching pressure is exceeded. ressure cut-off valves are basically comprised of housing (1), cartridge valve (2) with adjustment element (3), pilot control element (4), main spool (5) and check valve (6). ressure cut-off valve model D 6 V Diverting the pump flow from B to. he pump delivers, via check valve (6), into the hydraulic system ( B). t the same time pressure acts upon spool () via drilling (7), and orifice (9) on the spring loaded side of main spool (5) and via orifice (10) on pilot poppet (11). s the set cut-off pressure in the hydraulic system is exceeded, pilot poppet (11) lifts against the compression spring (), from seat (14). ilot oil flows via orifices (9), (10), and seat (14) to port. he resulting pressure drop lifts main spool (5) and opens the connection. Check valve (6) closes the connection from B. ilot poppet (11) is now (due to the area differential between the spool and seat) held open by the actuator pressure in port B. Diverting the pump flow from to B. Due to the area differential of approx. 17% (10%) the effective force on spool () is correspondingly larger, so that the actuator pressure in port B must decay by this amount, before compression spring () can return pilot poppet (11) to its seat. ressure on the spring side of spool (5) increases and is forced closed by spring (13). he connection and the pump again delivers via the check valve (6) into the hydraulic system ( B). ressure cut-off valve model D 6 V With this model of valve the pump is not connected to but to. he valve diverts the pump flow from to. he switching sequence is the same as with valve model D 6 V.
