3 On the GTL Model, first remove the Auxillry lights using T0 driver nd 0mm socket. Next clip the zip ties holding the power cord in plce using wire cutters. Turn the front wheel completely to the right nd remove the two front left rditor cowl screws, (A) top first, nd (B) ottom second using T driver. Turn the wheel to the left nd repet process with rightside. Grommet Remove the () ottom rditor cowl olts using T driver. There re () on ech cowl. Crefully remove the rditor cowl from ech side of ike. Note tht the top of ech cowl hs loctor pin tht inserts into ruer grommet. Tke cre so tht this grommet does not fll out nd get lost.

4 On GTL Model, remove the two Auxillry light rckets using T0 driver. Be sure to sve the olts nd spcers. Crefully remove the lck plstic plugs from the engine cse on ech side of the ike. The est wy to remove these is y spinning counterclockwise like olt. If plugs re tight you cn use needlenose pliers to strt. 7 Using long set of needlenose pliers or flthed screwdriver, unset the coolnt hose () from the retining clip (). Remove the retining clip from fn shroud y pushing ck on it with pliers. 8 Instll riders right side engine protection r first. Slide the r under the coolnt hose. The coolnt hose should e resting on top of the r nd e routed ehind it.

5 Apply Thredlocker IMPORTANT: Before rolling the rs up ensure the coolnt hose is not etween the rditor nd r to llow n esy instlltion. 9 Strt the upper M8 Allen Bolt () with wsher. Next strt the lower M0 olt () with wsher. Apply few drops of 0 thredlocker to ech olt efore strting them. Bolts will e tightend lter. Slide the left side engine r into the right side nd swing the left r up into position ligning the mchined oss + olt hole on engine cse with engine r mount. Strt the M8 Allen olt w/ wsher nd thredlocker. Strt the M0 Allen olt w/ wsher on lower mount, use thredlocker. Now tht ll fstners re strted, you cn go ck round nd tighten nd tourque fstners to correct spec. M8 x 0 = 9nm nd M0 x = 8nm or torque. On riders rightside, secure the the coolnt hose () to the protection r () with () zip tie. DO NOT over tighten ut rther tighten enough just to hold the hose in position.

6 On GTL models, reinstll the Auxillry lights to the mounts on the underside of the new protection rs. Use OEM 0 mm nut nd screw. Use () zip tie to secure the power cord to engine r on ech side of ike. Reinstll oth the right nd left rditor cowls. Tke your time nd properly llign the loction pin with ruer grommet.
