Two gauges are required for male connectors and two for female connectors. Use Instructions for Gauge Part No. KP For Use With: Male type Tri-Loc Connector Purpose: To measure position of inner ground with respect to outer body Procedure: 1) Place the gauge over the Tri-Loc body such that fingers (on body) are engaged and locked. 2) The position of the plunger head in the gauge should be: For High Limit: Flush or above the gauge head. For Low Limit: Flush or below the gauge head. Use Instructions for Gauge Part No. KP For Use With: Male type Tri-Loc Connector Purpose: To measure position of inner ground with respect to center conductor Procedure: 1) Place the gauge in the Tri-Loc connector (male type) until the outer most shoulder seats against the body (or outer conductor). 2) The plunger should be flush or above with respect to gauge head. Use Instructions for Gauge Part No. KP For Use With: Female type Tri-Loc Connector Purpose: To measure position of inner ground with respect to outer body Procedure: 1) Place the gauge in the Tri-Loc holding it till fingers are locked. 2) The plunger in the gauge should be: For High Limit: Flush or above the gauge head. For Low Limit: Flush or below the gauge head. Use Instructions for Gauge Part No. KP For Use With: Female type Tri-Loc Connector Purpose: To measure position of inner ground with respect to center conductor Procedure: 1) Place the gauge in Tri-Loc connector so that the outermost edge of the gauge seats against the body of the connector. 2) The plunger should be flush or above with respect to gauge head. 38
