Extending the useful life of an ambulance by re-furbishing and replacing only the parts that need it. 3 Remounted ambulance box body Why choose a remount? By choosing a remounted box body ambulance, you could save up to 20% on the cost of a new ambulance. * DLL has developed an innovative ambulance remounting programme. As an ambulance is a vehicle driven under load (the box), the chassis is the main wearing component of the vehicle. The remounting process involves refurbishing the modular box body of a used vehicle to an as-new standard. The box is then fitted to a brand new Mercedes chassis, providing reliability, efficiency and extending it s useful life.
