PRODUCT FEATURES TRANSMISSIONS The Fortes TM Advace & Fortes TM Advace+ models are available with the electroically cotrolled trasmissio, providig: Auto Deceleratio System (ADS) automatically slows the truck whe the accelerator pedal is released, ad fially brigs the truck to a stop, which helps to sigificatly exted brake life. I additio, this feature assists the driver to accurately positio the truck i frot of a load. There are 10 ADS settigs, programmable via the dash display by a service techicia, which deliver differet brakig characteristics, from very gradual to aggressive, to suit the eeds of the applicatio. Cotrolled Power Reversal; the Pacesetter VSM cotrols the trasmissio to deliver smooth directio chages. The VSM reduces the throttle to slow the egie, iitiates auto-deceleratio to stop the truck, chages the trasmissio directio automatically ad icreases the throttle to accelerate the truck. The system virtually elimiates tyre spi ad shock loads o the trasmissio ad sigificatly icreases tyre life. As with ADS, the system is programmable via the dash display by a service techicia, with settigs from 1 to 10, to suit the eeds of the applicatio. Cotrolled Roll-Back o Ramp; the trasmissio cotrols the rate of decet of the truck o a ramp, whe the brake ad throttle pedal are released, to provide maximum cotrol o a grade ad icrease operator productivity. All powertrais are cotrolled, protected ad maaged by the Pacesetter VSM idustrial oboard computer featurig a CANbus commuicatios etwork. Hassle-Free Hydraulic systems, featurig Leak-free Orig face seal fittigs reduce leaks for ehaced reliability. No-mechaical, Hall-Effect sesors ad switches have bee fitted ad are desiged to outlast the life of the truck. Load Sesig Hydraulics (LSH) deliver icreased operatioal efficiecy, providig a 15% reductio i fuel cosumptio o the VDI cycle, with o loss i productivity*. Variable displacemet pisto pumps match the flow rate ad liftig speed cotiuously to the demads of the duty cycle.
