19 Spark Erosion The machine uses an electric arc to melt any material it encounters, and then uses regular or demineralised water to flush away the desintegrated pieces. Due to our very low tolerance on machining of our electrodes, we can attain a precision of a few tenths of a millimeter, making it possible to remove even fine threaded bolts without damaging the bolthole.

20 Spark Erosion As the vibration of the electrode creates the arc, the electrode cuts deeper and deeper into the workpiece. No heat builds up, as the waterflow cools the workpiece, keeping temperature at around 40 c.
