2 BIS Heavy Duty Clamps Gives strength to your installation! With or without lining The entirely renewed range BIS HD Clamps consists of type HD 1501 (with noise insulating lining) and type HD 500 (without lining) and includes a clamp for each common pipe size. High safe load All HD Clamps are very robust and with that perfectly equipped for fixing heavier pipes. Due to the CO 2 welded connection nut, the solid locking and the steel quality, the HD Clamp is suitable for heavier loads. Moreover the clamps have been performance tested in a fire situation. Many connection possibilities For each pipe size you can choose from at least 2 connection nuts. With the separate thread adaptors, if required, other connections can be made. The clamp ends have been well finished and contribute to an uncomplicated assembly. The locking nut is captive, hidden in a plastic nut holder. Moreover the locking screws are provided with an anti-loss washer. No more time wasted with incomplete clamps and loose parts! There is sufficient space between both clamp halves to place the pipe. The pipe can be assembled very quickly! Silicone lining For the fixing of steam pipes the HD Clamp is available with silicone lining. The lining is temperature resistant up to 200 C. 3 BIS HD 1501 with EPDM lining Noise insulation according to DIN 4109 The BIS HD 1501 Clamp is supplied as standard with a black EPDM rubber lining, which ensures noise insulation in accordance with DIN The lining is durable and ageing resistant. It is also resistant to temperatures from -10 up to +90 C and for a limited time period from -40 up to +125 C. 5 BIS HD 500 and 1501 Many connection possibilities The standard range covers the most common combinations of pipe clamp and connection. With the separately available thread adaptors it is possible to reduce the 1/2 connection to M16 or to increase to 3/4 or 1. However, in the food industry, laboratories, sewage treatment plants, tunnel building or other corrosive surroundings generally stainless steel must be supplied.
