3 YSM Air Handling Units YSM double skin air handling unit (AHU) can meet diversified requirements of high capacity air conditioning application. 40 standard unit sizes are available for choice, with air flow ranging from 1,200 ~ 99,180m 3 /h and up to 1000Pa maximum external static pressure. Simple and efficient design is based on 95mm Module (M). For quick and efficient solution, our selection program can select size and parameter, and to bring about optimization design. For special requirements, please contact our local office. YSM air handling unit uses special extruded aluminium profile posts which break the thermal bridge, reinforced plastic triaxial angle lug, flush fitting panels and doors, and has a smooth surface and attractive profile. All panels and doors can be easily assembled and disassembled due to unique lockable device achieved by a reliable PVC strip. Filters can meet diversified requirements due to a wide range of filtration classes and materials, and filter frames are withdrawable, which makes them easy to access for inspection and cleaning. Water coil is manufactured from copper tubes with aluminium fins. Heat source can be hot water, eletricity or steam. "Dry Drain Pan" design allows quick and easy drainage of condensate water. Hydroxyl radicals (OH) are very powerful oxidizing agents which quickly react to the carbon and hydrogen components of pollutants and decompose them into harmless carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). High Intensity Casing Extruded 2mm thickness, AL profile joined reinforced plastic triaxial angle lug, forming the structural frame to house all internal components and able to comply with EN1886 class 2 mechanical strength. (under the design condition, the deflection is less than 4mm/m) Air Tightness Provided with a combination of hollow neoprene gaskets and PVC seals, to ensure air leakage rate not greater than 1%, and able to comply with EN1886 class B, and to be equivalent to GB/T clean air conditioning requirement. Better Heat Insulation Double skin construction is provided by "sandwich" type 25mm or 50mm thick panels comprising 0.5mm thick inner and outer galvanized steel skins and Zero ODP & Zero GWP polymerized polyurethane foam with 40kg/m 3 density, providing a thermal conductivity coefficient of Profile Triaxial angle lug W/m k. Thermal Bridge Free Design Patent structure of thermal bridge free design is applied in YSM series. New AL profile, reinforced plastic triaxial angle lug and specially designed door make heat insulation more efficient and appearance more beautiful, and thermal bridge factor is better than EN1886 class TB2. Durability Corrosion protection through Al profiles, high quality galvanized steel, absence of welding and use of special treated steel screws, nuts and bolts. Flexibility Designed to use standard components, based on international modular size, thereby giving complete application flexibility. "Dry Drain Pan" Design All segments requiring condensate water draining can have a special design - "condensate draining", and allows quick and easy drainage of condensate water. Easy Installation Clamps and bolts are used to joint segments on site reducing erection time. Unit with split segments shall be provided with gaskets and sealing material as well as connection clamps to permit quick and airtight assembly. Unit is mounted on a base frame made by thick galvanized steel, and ensure entire stability and permit easy lifting, handling and positioning on site. Easy Access An ingenious patent system, which using lockable AL profile and PVC tubular strip, ensures the fastening of all panels and their easy dismantling for good service and maintenance. Excellent Sound Reduction Double skin panel with high density polymerized polyurethane foam has excellent sound reduction performance, and reduce noise level of equipment room effectively. The basic selection of YSM AHU is determined by air flow rate. If coil air face velocity is regarded as the key factor of selection, the following rules should be complied with: - Cooling coil - the maximum air face velocity is 2.5m/s - High latent heat (sensible heat factor less than 0.50) cooling coil- the maximum air face velocity is 2.4m/s - Cooling coil with droplet eliminator - the maximum air face velocity is 3m/s, the velocity of high latent heat cooling coil should be less than 3m/s - Heating coil - the maximum air velocity is 4m/s - Filter - the maximum air velocity is 3.5m/s If filter is the key factor of selection, we should first calculate the area of crossing section of filters, which is required to process the design air flow, then select height and width of an AHU model to ensure AHU is big enough to contain the filters. 2.The height H excludes the height 100mm of base frame and height of damper or flange at top. 3. The width W excludes the dimension of damper or flange at side, piping and humidifier pot etc. 4. 9 s Specifications & Illustration Air Inlet / Mixing Box / Air Outlet / Economizer Application Air inlet segment - it is linked with return air duct, and supply return air into air handling unit Mixing box - it can adjust the proportion of return air and outdoor air to satisfy the need of air conditioning environment. Air outlet segment - it is linked with supply air duct, and supply air to air conditioning systems. Economizer segment - it can adjust the proportion of return air, outdoor air and exhaust air to satisfy the needs of air conditioning environment. Damper arrangement and construction Damper is opposed blades, with motor driven or manual controlled link rod. Blades are made of galvanized steel sheet or AL, move smoothly in the opposite direction and lubrication free. Damper is equipped with 40mm drilled flange. Damper size Optional damper dimension module (Mdl_X, Mdl_Y) is matched with YSM module. For example, 7Mx9M damper can be positioned at the front of YSM0709 or above models. The filtering material uses non-woven fabric or thermal bonding chemical fiber, filtration efficiency is G1~G4. Medium/high-medium filter, it includes plate type and bag type. The filtering material uses superfine fiber and adopts melt-blown fabric produced by up-to-date technology as the enhanced protective layer of filtering medium, filtration efficiency is F5~F8. Sub-HEPA filter uses densely folded superfine glass fibre, filtration efficiency is F9~H10. Activated carbon filter, made of multifarious organic chemical fiber and carbonized media, can be used to eliminate odors and low density gas-phase pollution source in the air. 11 Cooling and Heating Coil Cooling and heating coil are made of mechanically expanded copper tubes with aluminium fins. The coil is framed by galvanized steel. Steel or copper header has connector with male thread, drain and vent ports. Coil are tested under 30bar pressure. The maximum design working pressure is 15bar. Painted galvanized steel drain pan is "Dry Drain Pan", which can ensure complete drainage. Droplet eliminator can be provided as an option and to avoid condensate splash out of coil. (Eliminator should be installed when the coil velocity is between 2.5m/s and 3m/s) Optional steam coil uses thickened copper or steel tube with aluminium fin, and maximum design working pressure is 4bar. 14 s Specifications & Illustration (Continued) Electric Heating (Option) Eelectric heater comprises heating element, using low-temperature stainless steel tube with scrolll fins, and temperature protection switch, etc. Electric heating part is fixed on the frame. Electric control box is supplied and installed by the user. And its control must be interlocked with the fan. Feature 1-4 steps control, to satisfy multiple needs of heating power; Overheating protection, temperature protection switch, fixed inside, can shut off when overheating. SQ Option Electric heating control box Notice Connect the line according to the electric drawing, can't miss-connection and wrong-connection, Examination should be periodically executed to ensure the temperature protection switch operate normally and avoid protection invalidation when overheating. Ensure the fan has been turned on before running the electric heater, and the electric heater should be closed 5 minutes before the fan is shut down. Fan Fan segment can be equipped with a double width, double inlet, forward or backward curved blade centrifugal fan. Fan inlet cone is designed according to the requirement of aerodynamic performance, impeller has been statically and dynamically balanced. The bearings of small fan are pre-lubricated, sealed, and lubrication is free for lifetime. The bearings of large fan are thrust type, with self-adjusting journal and lubrication points in the housings. Fan driven device (V belt) is selected and installed by factory, it can meet the need of performance. Motor is TEFC type, class B or F insulation and IP54 or IP55 protection. Standard motor is 2/4/6 poles and single speed, with power supply of 380V-3PH-50Hz, 380~415V-3PH-50Hz or 230/380/460V-3PH-60Hz. Fan and motor are installed on an independent base frame, with spring vibration isolators. VSD motor is available for all series power supply. Converter, starter and VSD motor are standard options at 380V-3PH-50Hz. Please contact our local office about fan segment selection. 15 Sound Attenuator (Option) Sound attenuator uses galvanized steel as frame, non-hygroscopic and anticorrosive superfine fiber glass as inner lining acoustic absorbent, with perforated skin as protective cover of lining material. Electrode humidifier, it consists of humidifier host and steam distributor with high control precision, and it can provide steam humidification without steam source.
