Two high strength, low friction bearings for upper and lower shafts, restrain shaft deflection, ensuring effective stem sealing. Long neck for insulation, in accordance with Section of the Department of the Environment Standard (M & E) No.3. Semi-lugged for equipment isolation and end of line services ( bar). No maintenance. Suitable for vacuum service The attersley 97 Series features: as 95 Series except valve body fully lugged and suitable for end of line duty up to bar. Sizes DN5 to DN. 95 Series Developed to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications, this pattern of BUTTERLY valve combines the most modern materials with advanced design and manufacturing processes. Ideally suited to VC duties, the seat and luminium Bronze disk is the preferred combination for chilled water, condensate, LTW and MTW duties. Valves with Nitrile liners are WRc approved and UWBS listed. The Long Neck feature of the figure 95 and 97 facilitates insulation by lagging or valve boxes.
