3 Technical description for a Mercedes Benz W221 armoured to level B6 and stretched by 1350mm and roof raised by 100mm to Royal dimensions Stretching and roof-raising process After dismantling the original factory Mercedes Benz W221 base unit, the body is mounted onto a special jig. Then cut into two pieces behind the B-pillar. The rear end will be moved backwards by exactly 1350mm and then again fixed to the jig to ensure proposed dimensions. After bringing in the new floor a second B-pillar will be welded in, behind the original one to carry the new middle section. The middle section can be opened for service reasons with hidden levers from the inside. The new one piece roof will then be welded on the body. At the same time the vehicles body will be roof raised above the lower doors / glass border line by approx. 100mm. Afterwards the body is undergoing a cleaning, painting and wax process to ensure that no rust will occur. The paint finish has a better quality then the original base unit due to several layers of paint and an excellent polish job. A new special prop-shaft will be installed; the original wiring will be extended as well as the brake and fuel tubes. All interior panels, covers, the roof liner and carpet have been trimmed colour co-ordinated to the original appearance of the base vehicle. The middle section has been equipped with a window in the standard appearance of the base vehicle. Armouring process and specifications The armouring process has been incorporated into the base unit vehicle construction without changing the exterior appearance. The safety cell is engineered in such a way that all original OEM access points into the cabin are completely covered and protected. Potential vulnerable areas where glass is integrated with opaque components, as well as door apertures, have been overlapped and fitted with spall-returns to prevent foreign projectiles or splinters from entering the passenger (safety) cell compartment. Ballistic materials All armouring materials utilized such as ballistic steel, glass and composites have been ballistically tested by the independent German Beschussamt authorities, as well as other authorized testing establishments. Certification results / reports can be presented upon request. Due to the obvious progression of modern day ballistic technology complete ballistic protection is, and never will be possible the CEN norm indicates a measured resistance level.

4 Opaque and transparent areas All opaque and transparent areas are protected against projectiles fired with the following calibers and all lesser weapons at 90 (roof 45 ) impact angle in accordance and above the requirements of the EEC / CEN classification. Caliber 7.62 x 39 mm, FJ/PB/SC, AK 47, (Kalashnikov) OBR-43 PS Caliber 5.45 x 39.5 mm AP, FJ/PB/SCP, AKS 74, (Kalashnikov) OBR-74 Caliber 5.56 x 45 mm, FJ/PB/SCP, US rifle M16 A2, SS-109 /M-855 Caliber 7.62 x 51 mm, FJ/PB/SC, FAL / "LAR" NATO rifle Floor / Roof The floor of the vehicle is designed in such a way that it will defeat the following hand grenades and all lesser explosives. Two DM 51 (German Norm) per sqm detonated simultaneously Braking system The vehicles braking system has been adapted to adhere additional weight constraints that have been applied to the vehicle main body components. Modifications are carried out in such a way that they pass German type approval. Chassis Where needed OEM suspension components have been replaced with specially made reinforced components. The company... was specially commissioned to manufacture these reinforced components to make up the suspension system for the armoured vehicle. These parts are only available for our clients and have been specially tuned for the armoured BR 6 ballistic level weights. The components have been branded for easy identification; the shock absorbers have a different serial number registered with... The vehicles have been trial tested with these exclusive components by our own specialists. In addition road tests were carried out whereby the vehicle was driven over various test road /terrain surfaces; high speed oval track; durability track; natural track; bad road; driving dynamics at a range of speeds whereby by braking, rolling curving and general handling was tested and approved. Tires and rims The producer is working together with the leading tire manufactures. Rims and tire combinations are tested by independent German authorities to ensure the highest possible safety on a long term basis

5 Included options Cooling and ventilation Air vents and operation elements have bee placed to ensure proper cooling and air ventilation in the VIP compartment. Division wall A colour co-ordinated trimmed division wall separates the drivers and VIP compartment to provide more privacy to the VIP. An electrically moveable window will slide up and down to communicate with the driver. Vis-à-vis rear seats Two seats have been placed in the rear compartment vis-à-vis the original rear seat in the same style and quality as the original ones for maximum comfort for the VIP passengers Security and Comfort Options for limousines: Alarm siren In combination with the vehicle intercom system the alarm siren can be used in the event of an attack draw attention to the incident. The three tone siren can also be used as a emergency signal in standard traffic situations. 2nd Battery In addition to the standard battery a second battery has been installed. The battery is charged by a controlled system and its capacity is constantly controlled. If the main battery is flat or develops a defect the second battery will take over this function. The second battery is protected with armoured steel Centre console A wood veneered / leather trimmed centre console has been mounted to the rear VIP compartment. It is consisting of different storage compartments. Cooler box A cooler box has been mounted in the rear compartment. It can cool down two large or four small bottles.

6 Curtains Colour co-ordinated manual operated curtains are fitted to the VIP compartment for more privacy while travelling. Emergency Oxygen Supply In case of a gas attack, the air condition system will be turned into recycling mode and oxygen will be pressured into the SAFETY CELL from a compressed oxygen container installed into the vehicle which also is completely armoured. This allows passengers to breathe normally while car gets away from the incident. The system serves the driver and crew area as well as the VIP area. Fire extinguisher system for the motor compartment A fire suppressant cartridge is mounted in the engine compartment to extinguish a fire immediately. The system can be activated from a switch mounted from the centre console next to the driver. Fire extinguisher system for the under body The complete under body and wheel arches is protected against the effects of fire caused by explosives or fire bomb (Molotov cocktails). The system can be operated manual from the drivers / co-driver s seat by simply pressing a switch. Flag poles Flag poles have been mounted to the vehicles front fender to carry flag and pennants. The flags can be illuminated at night. They can be stowed in an extra leather bag (included) when not in use. Flags and pennants on special request. Heated backlight The backlight is heated for fast defogging. Also very helpful in areas where humidity is very high. Hinges reinforced All original OEM door hinges have been replaced with specially designed reinforced strengthened heavy-duty door hinges. These hinges will hold the additional opaque and transparent armour features that are incorporated into the vehicle's doors.

7 Inside intercom An inside intercom can be mounted for more comfort when the window of the division wall is closed. It enables the VIP to give directions to the driver. Intercom / public address system The intercom system enables direct communication between passengers and persons outside the vehicle without having to compromise security by lowering the Protected fuel tank Fuel tank is armoured according to the specifications with level CEN B6. The armouring will protect the fuel tank against the effects of explosive devices and projectiles being detonated under the vehicle. Run-Flat tire system x4 In the event of vehicle receiving a puncture, blow-out or having deflated tires the Run-flat system will allow the vehicle to continue driving under controlled conditions. A run-flat system is a very important security measure. Keeping the vehicle mobile is absolutely essential to preventing would be attackers with hand held weapons from obtaining an accurate ballistic grouping on the vehicle armour. Keeping mobile will also get the vehicle away from dangerous and remote regions. Tires are equipped with a run-flat system, allowing continuous driving at a speed of up to max. 50 km/h after any incident including puncture or blow-out of tire. Window (Hydraulic) lifter The window lifter allows ballistic windows to be lowered by approximately 300 mm to serve as a document pass through. A reliable window lifter is an essential security feature enabling vehicle occupants to stay inside the confines of the passenger safety cell while negotiating vehicle checkpoints.
