It is recommended that the farm is approached from the North, rather than through Swinbrook village, where the roads are extremely narrow. From the A40 Cheltenham to Oxford road, at the Burford roundabout take the turning into Burford. Go through the town, over the river bridge and at the mini roundabout, turn right signed for Chipping Norton. After 2 1 / 2 miles turn right onto the B4437, signposted for Charlbury. Take the next turning right, signposted for Swinbrook and follow the signs to the sale. If approaching from Stow-on-the-Wold, take the A424 Burford road and immediately before entering the town of Burford, bear left at the mini-roundabout as if for Chipping Norton. After 2 1 / 2 miles, turn right onto the B4437 as if approaching from Burford. If approaching from Chipping Norton, take the A361 in a southerly direction. In Shipton under Wychwood, turn left onto Swinbrook Road and follow the signs to the sale field. The sale includes virtually all of the farming equipment off 3,000 acres of mostly arable farmland together with much of the shoot equipment from the Swinbrook Estate. SALE NOTES Viewing: Tuesday, 18th September, 2018, 2:00 to 5:00pm and on the morning of the sale. Conditions: The sale will be conducted subject to the CAAV Model Machinery Conditions of Sale which are shown in full on our website and will be available at the sale office. All prospective buyers should ensure that they have read and understood those Conditions. The act of bidding will be taken as acceptance of them. Bidding Numbers: All bidders will require a bidding number. Those of you who do not already have a number can register your details prior to the sale at this office, or at the registration desk at the sale field. Please let us know if you would like this bidding number to be permanent. Payment: All lots become the sole risk of the buyer at the fall of the hammer. The property in a lot purchased shall not pass to the buyer or be removed from the sale field until payment has been made for the full purchase price to the Auctioneers.
