Access is via the main entrance on the A6108 to the south of North Stainley village approximately 5 miles north-west of Ripon. The postcode is HG4 3HT. Thanks go to Lightwater Valley for the kind use of their car park and facilities to conduct the sale. The shopping village and catering facilities are all open on sale day. The sale will commence at 11.30am with the miscellaneous items followed by the machinery and finishing with the tractors and combine, then the items included by permission. VAT will be charged at a standard rate on all the lots. This will be charged on all the lots at the rate of 1.5% plus VAT subject to a maximum of 500 on any individual lot. Refreshments will be available on the day of sale. The sale can be viewed on Thursday 23rd February from 9am to 4.30pm and the morning of sale from 9am, or otherwise by prior telephone appointment with:- Derek Almack A forklift will be available to assist with loading on sale day and the following day. Payment can be made by cash or cheque subject to the following:- Cheque payments from purchasers who are unknown to the Auctioneer must make one of the following arrangements BEFORE THE DAY OF SALE: Provide a letter from your Bank addressed to Stephenson & Son confirming the amount up to which cheques can be accepted. The letter should include your account name and number, and an authorised bank signature. Inform your own Bank that you wish to pay by cheque, stating the maximum amount you are likely to spend and ask them to instruct our bankers that it will be in order to accept your cheque. Arrange with your Bank Manager for the issue of a guaranteed cheque or banker s draft to be brought with you.
