These are the most important conditions for a Mailing System. All questions due to different investment backgrounds are in good hands with Herzog + Heymann: A new folding machine shall be purchased, which is upgradable and able to produce mailings. An existing folding machine shall be upgraded to produce mailings. A completely new machine shall be purchased. Shall be produced from reel or from sheet due to high editions? Must be personalized and with which quality? Shall be printed inline? Flexibility in mailing is the highest order: Mobile feeder and mobile folding units. So, the plastic fields are slightly heightened. Advantage: The roller pressure can be lightly adjusted. Therefore, the folding roller is longer lasting. Complicated papers and complicated folding schemes, like the pyramide-roll-fold can be smoothly realized. It s good to have many folding pockets Mailing products often range between folding lengths of 10 to 11 cm. Therefore, for mobile folding units with folding pockets 6.8., configurations are recommended, which are changable to 8.6. The configuration of the folding pockets should depend on the available printing machine, e.g. 72 x 104 cm or 104 x 142 cm. In the product range of the folding machine M 7, folding pockets up to 16 are available and with the new M 8.40 even up to 18.
