Park the vehicle on a level ground. 4. Remove the ignition key from the switch and store it in a safe place. 5. Protect any items removed or to be installed from scratches by placing them on a soft cloth first before putting them on the ground. 6. Use care not to cause any damage to the body of the vehicle during installation of the accessory. Tightening Torque Tighten bolts to the torque indicated in the right table as standard value unless otherwise explicitly specified. The value shows conventional or 4 marked bolt tightening torque. For other bolts not listed in the table, refer to the service manual. Diameter Tightening Torque (mm) N m kgf-m lbf-ft Remove the screws and washers. 12 3/5 1. Install the Nuts 9 to the Front Inner Box Drill a 4 mm holes at punch marks A of the front leg shield. 3. Remove the screws. 4. Remove the screw and washer. NOTE: Removed screws and washer will not be reused. Screw and Washer Screw Screw 5. Install the Front Inner Box 7 to the front leg shield by using the Screws (M6 25 mm) 0 and Screws (M5 30 mm) B.

13 4/5 6. Apply the Cushion No.1 2, No. 2 3 and No. 3 4 to the outside and inside of Front Box 6 as shown in the illustration. Outside Inside 7. Install the Front Box 6 to the Front Inner Box 7 by using the Screws (M5 16 mm) A and Screws (M5 30 mm) B. 8. When installing the lock, fit the concave part B of the Front Box Lid 5 onto the convex part C of the lock. Lock

14 5/5 9. Insert the spring to the concave part of the lock. Lock Spring 10.Install the Front Box Lid 5 to the Front Box 6 using two Pins 1. Insert the Pins 1 into the holes of the Front Box 6 and Front Box Lid Close the Front Box Lid 5.
