2 JOIN THE EuroCarBody It is the most important international benchmarking conference for car bodies in series production: HANDS-ON EXCLUSIVE BODIES ARE PRESENTED RIGHT AFTER SOP It is where the global elite of car body engineers meet to benchmark car body development, performance and production of the most recently launched series vehicles from all over the world. With detailed technical presentations, the OEM engineers who were involved in the development of the presented car bodies explain their construction, material and production concepts and subsequently answer your questions directly at the corresponding car body exhibit. Generally, these exhibits can be fully inspected by all conference participants during the three conference days. The same is true for the respective full vehicles, which will also be on display. Further to that, the standardised EuroCarBody car body benchmark data will be available to all delegates as part of the conference proceedings, providing detailed information on weights, material, parts, joining technologies as well as production data of all car bodies presented. 7 HIGHLIGHTS AT EuroCarBody 2017 EuroCarBody AWARDS HELP DECIDE ON THE MOST CONVINCING CAR BODY PROJECTS An inherent part of the EuroCarBody conference is the bestowal of the EuroCarBody Awards, the highest accolade in car body engineering worldwide. NEW! For the first time, the car bodies presented at the conference will enter one of two separate competitions, namely for the: EuroCarBody Award Premium Segment, comprising vehicles that have been developed for a predominantly technology-oriented, premium vehicle segment, or for the EuroCarBody Award Volume Segment, comprising cars that have been developed for a predominantly cost-oriented, volume-production vehicle segment. NEW! SNEAK PREVIEW ASK YOUR QUESTIONS AT THE CAR BODIES The new EuroCarBody Sneak Preview offers an additional opportunity to discuss details individually with the OEM engineering teams: The speaker teams presenting on a given conference day will be available at their car bodies one hour before the start of the conference programme to answer your first questions and provide first explanations. TECHNOLOGY DEEP DIVE HEAR ABOUT HIGHLIGHT-DEVELOPMENTS IN DETAIL In their car body presentation, all OEM speaker teams will highlight in greater detail one or two particularly challenging technological achievements, product- or process-related, sharing their experiences with the implementation of these technologies. CAR SHOW INSPECT THE FULL VEHICLES During every lunch break, all participants have the opportunity to inspect the full vehicles corresponding to the car body presentations. Speakers and Advisory Board members will be available for demonstrations and further questions. Applications will only be accepted until 15 July HOW DO I GET A TICKET? Automotive manufacturers, supporting the Automotive Circle actively, will get direct access to the EuroCarBody 2017 conference. Interested participants of other companies must apply for their conference tickets latest until 15 July All applicants will be notified about their status by the organiser after that date and until 17 July With approval, the invoice will be issued and the credit card will be charged.
