3 What s New for MY16 Models Available AMG GT Details GT S SoP: 1/2015 GT Available from MY17 The new 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S is an achievement of intense passion and beauty for the senses: breathtaking performance, scene-stealing looks, and a growl that intimidates the road itself. Born on the racetrack by the AMG engineers in Affalterbach, it features a new AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering a 0-to-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds. Low bodyweight and lightning-fast power transfers mean cornering is thrillingly sharp, with the Mercedes-AMG GT S setting new standards for precise, dynamic performance. The interior is the next expression of our "aviation design" theme, featuring a powerful wing-like dashboard, four central spotlight-style vents and a dominant center console. And everywhere you look and touch, the finest materials and craftsmanship exude the quality and exclusivity that only Mercedes-AMG can provide. 4 European model shown.

5 Innovation: Touchpad Standard on all models. European images shown. The functions of COMAND Online can be controlled via the innovative touchpad, using single or multiple-finger gestures (multitouch), swiping movements and pinching gestures to zoom in and out. Innovative handwriting recognition feature: users are able to input letters, special characters and numbers in their normal handwriting, in any language available in the head unit. 3 similarly touch-sensitive buttons located behind the touchpad allow direct operation of functions such as Back, shortcuts to the favourites menu and the quick audio menu. For improved orientation, the symbols on the touchpad are illuminated in the dark. 6

6 Innovation: AMG DYNAMIC SELECT Standard on all models. European images shown. The AMG DYNAMIC SELECT CONTROLLER can be used to call up the predefined modes "Comfort" (C), "Sport" (S), "Sport Plus" (S+), RACE plus an individually settable mode (I*). In this case, each individual mode changes the vehicle parameters as a function of the vehicle equipment the aim being to offer the driver an optimum driving experience in every driving situation. Selecting a mode changes the settings for the drive system, the transmission tuning, the steering, the AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, the selectable AMG performance exhaust system, the ESP and the ECO start/stop function. 7

7 Innovation: Collision Prevention Assist Plus Standard on all models. Driving assistance system to lessen the danger of rear-end collisions and mitigate the consequences of accidents Combination of radar-based distance warning, assisted braking by Adaptive Brake Assist and autonomous partial braking Visual warning via a warning light in the instrument cluster when the safe distance to vehicles in front is too low within a speed range between 7 and 250 km/h An additional audible warning is sounded if the distance continues to close rapidly In case of emergency braking by the driver and if necessary COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS will increase the brake pressure provided by Adaptive Brake Assist to prevent a collision Initiation of autonomous partial braking if the driver fails to react within a speed range of 7 and 105 km/h 8

8 Innovation: ATTENTION ASSIST Standard on all models. Product Management 2014 E-Class Sedan/Wagon ATTENTION ASSIST continuously analyzes driving behaviour and steering movements. If the system detects certain steering patterns that frequently accompany drowsiness, it warns the driver visually by displaying the "coffee cup" symbol in the instrument cluster at the same time as emitting audible signals. ATTENTION ASSIST is now active at a wider speed range from km/h The system's sensitivity can also be adjusted, e.g. for drivers who already feel tired when they get behind the wheel. New information page in the instrument cluster display shows the driver s current attention level, system status and driving time since last break ATTENTION ASSIST also interacts with the vehicle s navigation system to display nearby service centres in addition to the drowsiness warning 9

9 Innovation: LED High Performance Headlamps Standard on all models. More safety at night and an unmistakable, striking light signature thanks to LED high performance headlamps. Using LED technology, these illuminate the road surface more efficiently than Bi-Xenon headlamps with reduced dazzle, a lower energy consumption and a much longer operating life. Features: LED technology with pleasant white light that comes close to the spectrum of natural daylight LED daytime running lights integrated into headlamps Automatic highbeam control by Adaptive Highbeam Assist (AHA) for continuous long-range illumination of the road ahead 10

15 AMG GT S Engine: 16 M L AMG Bi-Turbo V8 The newly developed AMG 4.0-litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine in the Mercedes- AMG GT S combines outstanding performance with the ideal weight distribution. It is installed as a front mid-engine behind the front axle and connected to the transmission at the rear axle via a torque tube. A dry sump lubrication system furthermore results in a significant lowering of the vehicle's centre of gravity and greater lateral acceleration. 16 AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT Standard on all models transmission modes: "C" (Comfort), "S" (Sport), "S+" (Sport Plus) and "RACE" mode, set via the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT Controller "RACE" mode has been configured in terms of responsiveness, engine speed and shift times to deliver the ultimate in racetrack performance Manual mode "M" can be called up using the "M" button in the centre console Temporary M mode: Change to "M" by using the shift paddles Partial ignition interruption during upshifts for an emotive sound Upshifts even with the throttle wide open Automatic double-declutching function when downshifting RACE START function, activated by pulling on both shift paddles simultaneously ECO start/stop function and coasting mode in "C" mode

This delivers targeted improvements to traction, and also to driving stability in slaloms or when changing lane at high speed. This improves handling safety and ride comfort. Consequently, handling is improved at high speeds, in particular lateral acceleration, driving stability and the braking distance.
