4 Innovation: Smartphone Integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) Standard on all models With Smartphone Integration it is possible to integrate an iphone into the vehicle via Apple CarPlay and also Android smartphones via Android Auto and operate them by voice control and COMAND controller Functionality includes: Placing and receiving calls Reading and dictating text messages Navigation to and from locations Music streaming Podcast and audio book streaming Siri/Google Now voice assistant Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are completely separate & independent interfaces from the customary Mercedes-Benz infotainment system (they cannot be used at the same time) Requires a compatible iphone to be plugged into a specific USB port Standard messaging and data rates apply 5

5 Innovation: COMAND Online NTG 5*1 Standard on all models High resolution colour display upgraded from 7-inch to 8-inch Topographic and 3D map display now includes 3D-Buildings and 3D Map Rotation WiFi hotspot (WLAN) functionality for integration of mobile devices (Internet-usage requires mobile phone) Access to websites when the vehicle is stationary, plus unrestricted use of Mercedes-Benz Apps also while on the move (in conjunction with a suitable mobile phone) Bluetooth interface with hands-free function, SMS/ read/write function and audio-streaming LINGUATRONIC voice control system for audio, telephone, navigation, and music search Intuitive operation using the COMAND controller and keys in the COMAND control panel Radio with twin tuner and CD/DVD drive Two USB interfaces (in the centre armrest) and a slot for SDHC memory cards 6
