7 Pea Ridge National Military Park must be preserved at all cost Pea Ridge National Military Park is the site of one of the largest Civil War battles west of the Mississippi River. Pea Ridge marks the successful culmination of the Union's effort to secure control of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and protect the arsenal at St. Louis, which made easier the supply of Gen. Grant's Vicksburg campaign. The park encompasses 4,300 acres and includes a seven-mile, self-guided tour with 10 stops featuring wayside exhibits. 7

10 The July 2013 AEP/SWEPCO EIS is inaccurate and intentionally misleading Visual impact of a 345,000 Volt Transmission Line for Pea Ridge National Military Park is minimized and frankly misrepresented only to get APSC approval and avoid public outrage. 10

11 The April 3, 2013 SWEPCO EIS slammed by the US Army Corps of Engineers and 46 intervenors as incomplete and misleading, was amended by another misleading EIS dated July 19, 2013 The July 2013 EIS uses simulations with tiny arrows and midget towers to intentionally minimize the visual impact of feet tall towers and 150 feet ROW. True to scale, architectural renderings, are missing. How can APSC approve a project without full accurate drawings?
