If the Heating upply ir emperature is above the Heat arget when the U3000 samples the supply air, it will decrease the utput by 3% every 60 seconds. he U3000 staging process is very unique. he difference between the arget et-point and the ctual upply ir temperature along with the esponse elay determines how fast or slow the U3000 will stage the HV system. W hreshold 85% elect the value at which the uxiliary (W) or Back-up system energizes. he ange is 65% - 00% and the default value is 85% of ystem () utput. etting the value low means the uxiliary system will operate more often. etting a high value means the uxiliary system operates less often. here is a 5% differential added to the value selected which prevents short cycling. etting the W threshold to 00% effectively turns it FF. he reason for this is the differential. o, a value of 90% actually trips at 95%. hus a value of 00% would require the ystem utput to reach 05% which is impossible. Use the 00% value if you want the uxiliary system to nergize on the utside ir et-point only. If desired, you can use the utside ir et-point and set the W hreshold to 95%. hat would require the ystem () utput ercentage to reach 00% demand or the utside ir temperature has to drop low enough, to warrant energizing the uxiliary system. urge Fan 5% tep Finish elect how fast you want the Indoor Fan to run at the end of a cycle to urge the last of the hot or cool air into the last zone calling. ou may select 5%, 50%, 75% or 00%.he default value is 5%. Important Note: eview all of these rogramming Features carefully and call W ontrols if you have any questions. With years of experience Zoning HV systems, we have plugged in the default values that should work fine for the majority of the jobs you will encounter. If desired, you can still adjust the settings to your own preference. When doing so, wait and patiently observe the effect of those changes before changing them again. he U3000 s output demands to the HV equipment will vary and change depending on numerous factors such as: Internal Load, utdoor onditions, ystem apacity, esponse elay etting, upply ir arget set-points and -stat demand values.
