The reason I purchased the DMU 70 machine was because of its rigidity, says Chad Tharp, Division Manager for Machining. I also like that the table rotates and supports a part within it. The machine s footprint is very small making it work well in a cell. We can also get easy part movement between machines. After purchasing the DMU 70, Cox found that their customers were so impressed with their manufacturing abilities that they won enough new work to develop another cell, and thus now plan to purchase more DMG machines.
