26 PTC Background I-ETMS for PTC with x-itcs for grade crossing warning ITCS based on system that was approved for Michigan Allows for interoperability with freight railroads CHI-STL corridor is the only corridor nationwide with I-ETMS and 110 mph speeds

27 PTC: Next Steps/Obstacles to 110mph Work continues to follow current FRA 90mph roadmap, as interim step Field testing planned soon Program analyzing issues and next steps
