Do you reach out to confirm its presence? Or do you freeze, hoping it will pass you by? Solid state lighting is here and with reduced energy consumption, longer life and greater efficiencies, LEDs are making perfect sense. We have designed and manufactured a collection of solid state luminaires to compliment our current CFL, PL-R, HID & QL products. 7 GREAT WHITE GREAT PERFORMANCE Each of our solid state lighting products incorporates 1 of 3 complimentary LED engines: SYSION l Consistently delivering high lumen output and extra long life without colour shift between luminaires or over time. The Sysion range incorporates the highly acclaimed Philips Fortimo LED modules, true rivals to 26, 32 & 42W CFL systems. SYNCRO l The LED engine which truly replicates the performance of low voltage, yet consumes up to 80% less energy. Operating at 350mA for maximum efficacy, the cluster of CREE XP-E diodes are available in a range of beam angles and colour temperatures. SYSCO l A highly efficient 3W ice-white LED solution incorporated within a range of high-end luminaires, designed to compliment and enhance any environment. Page 5

9 GREAT WHITE GREAT FOOD The next generation of fresh food lighting has arrived. The Great White SYSION FOOD is the perfect light source to present fresh food displays as attractively as possible. It has been specifically tuned to enhance the red, amber and green colours in fresh food items such meat, bread, fruit and vegetables to maximise their appeal to the consumer. The tuneable white feature allows the creation of varied atmospheres with colour temperatures from 2700K to 6500K. An infinite spectrum of vivid colours are also available at the touch of a button. Active thermal management (ATM) is used on high output SYSION Downlights to dissipate the thermal energy generated by the diodes. The Nuventix Synjet ATM module is a Philips approved synthetic airflow generator, which aids heat dissipation by breaking up the boundary layer of hot air surrounding the heatsink. This allows a smaller heatsink to be used to create a compact and light weight luminaire. The ATM uses an extremely reliable zero friction, zero noise diaphragm system, proven to last for over 100,000 hours, even within harsh environments. The precision jets of air it generates create less than 19.25dBA of noise which is quieter than a whisper, ensuring that it is suitable for even the most noise sensitive areas. Page 40
