The cold phosphor technology ensures stable light output over the life of the fixture, while providing 50% energy saving over low voltage halogen, proving that efficiency does not need to come at the expense of light quality. Energy Light underpin this reliability with a comprehensive five year warranty covering not only operation, but also the quality of light from the fixture throughout hours. LED no compromise. Lifetime Consistency The consistency of the light output is held within 2 SDCMs (Standard Deviation Colour Matching - Mac Adam s Ellipses). This consistency is guaranteed for 5 years, along with the operation of the luminaires and driver. The luminaire features less than 15% light depreciation over hours, with no increase in power consumption over life.* Sustainability Long life, low energy lighting. Low carbon footprint for life. Xicato XSM Module Reflector Cold Phosphor An array of Blue Lumileds Luxeon Rebel chips produce an intense reliable light source. This blue light is converted to white via the unique tuning Corrective Cold Phosphor layer. Optics High efficiency reflectors combine with the Xicato module to produce unprecedented output and consistency. Corrective Cold Phosphor Technology Blue LEDs Phosphor Layer At the centre of the optic are the blue LEDs, the wavelength of which are individually measured, to the varying performance of all modern LED chips vary. A tailored phosphor coated film is then selected for each module to correct it to the required colour temperature and colour rendering. This guarantees the colour consistency to within 2SDCMs over the life of the module. The phosphor coating is remote from the LED chips and runs at up to 60 C less than a standard white chip.
