The Esavian name has existed for almost 100 years and continues to represent the ultimate in modern hangar door design, practicality and in-service reliability. The Esavian range comprises two sliding type hangar doors and one folding hangar door. All have the following features: Generally suitable for openings more than 6.0 metres in height (with our Phoenix range better suited to openings below that). They are 'bottom rolling', which means that their weight is carried by a bottom rail and not by the building structure above. Horizontal (sideways) opening. Very tolerant of large building movements or deflections. Inherent security against unwanted external attack. The major controls are at low level where they can be accessed easily. Easily operated from ground level during power failure. Any type of glazing or cladding system can be specified. Fire escape personnel doors without threshold steps can be incorporated. Eight sets of 88m wide by 25.8m high Esavian Type 126 doors for the huge Emirates Airlines A380 Engineering Complex means that Jewers Doors has supplied nearly one mile (1500m) of doors at Dubai International Airport.

The eight aircraft bays are fitted with Esavian Type 126 sliding doors covering 584m in width and 25.85m in height. The doors slide on a 1.3km radius to match the curvature of the hangar. 2: Esavian Type 126 sliding doors fitted to the awardwinning TAG Aviation hangar at Farnborough airport in the UK. There are three sets of doors 78m wide by 9.2m high with several tailgate openings to allow any combination of corporate aircraft to enter the hangars
