This adoption has been done in terms of a Memorandum of Agreement between the Electricity Suppliers Liaison Committee and the SABS Standards Division. This document was published in October 2013.

5 Foreword This specification was prepared on behalf of the Electricity Suppliers Liaison Committee (ESLC) and approved by it for use by supply authorities and other users, when purchasing joints and termination kits for medium-voltage power cables and aerial bundled conductors.
