11 Active work of ISO/TC 34/SC 17 in 2014 ISO 22000:2005 (under revision), Food safety management systems Requirements for any organization in the food chain Review done during the first part of 2014 among all members and stakeholders Revision initiated in 2014 This revision aims at simplifying and improving the overall applicability of the standard for all sectors in the food chain Responsible working group: ISO/TC 34/SC 17/WG 8 Timeframe: Ad hoc groups on HLS and terms and definitions to finalize their work by the end of October First Working Draft by the end of November WG 8 to meet in January/February 2015 to deal with the comments submitted on the Working Draft and to prepare the Committee Draft CD to be circulated by 1st May The comments from the CD to be dealt with during the meeting to be held in October 2015 in Paris. Availability of the ISO/DIS is expected in the middle of 2016.
