This micro-watt unit is pre-wired and pre-programmed in the factory with a default operating pressure of 12 Pa. The system allows the operator to adjust the setpoint pressure across the whole airflow range (from min. to max. settings for a CMEV system fitted with variable grilles). As opposed to a classic unit, the operating pressure is constant, meaning that, at lower flow rates the speed of the fan is reduced, optimising the motor power consumption and the pressure behind the ventilation grilles. The savings in electricity consumption can be up to 75% over that of a standard CMEV unit. The has a C4 fire classification (diameter 16 mm - 4-1/2 hour) for the whole range. 7 SETTINGS Troubleshooting Problem Diagnostics Solution The fan does not start and the fan display screen is dark. The fan does not start but the fan display screen is active. The fan starts up then stops (from several seconds to several days). No power supply or CB/switch open. Power supply cabling fault. Regulator U/S. Regulator faults. Motor cabling defective. Automatic starter deactivated. Protective circuit breaker detects current leakage and opens. Regulator faults. - Check for presence of mains voltage. - Check that the protective circuit breaker is closed. - Check the power supply cables within the building running to the unit's disconnecter switch. - Check the power supply cabling within the unit, between the disconnecter switch and the regulator. - Identify and correct the fault causing the regulator to fail. - Change the regulator. - Analyse and correct the fault codes. - Reset the regulator faults and turn the power supply off then on again. - Check the wiring between the regulator and the motor and turn the power supply off then on again. - Check the bridge between the terminals I1 and +24V (applicable to regulators ATV12 and ATV312). Cut off the power and restart. - Check coherence of protection current and max. current consumption. - Check that the differential is a minimum of 3 ma. - Analyse and correct the fault codes. - Reset the regulator faults and turn the power supply off then on again. Reset errors After having resolved the cause of the error message, it is advisable to carry out a resetting of the errors (see below). If there is a problem, contact our after sales department, giving the serial number of the unit, shown on the manufacturer's plate. The internal casing pressure reading is incorrect. - Check the pressure socket between the pressostat and the inside of the casing. - Check that the pressure tube is connected to outlet P2 on the pressostat. - Verify operation using an external pressure switch and compare the value we measured with the operating pressure set point (see operating pressure regulation diagram, p.11). 1- Press the Stop/Reset button 2- cr: confirm acquittal of a fault 12 13

8 MAINTENANCE For correct operation of the ventilation system, it is recommended that you have the equipment checked and serviced by a cleaning and maintenance firm. - The doors on the sides of the casing can be removed easily using a tool. All elements requiring servicing (impeller, motor, etc.) are easily accessible via hatches equipped with handles. Clean and remove dust from the fan blades as well as the other internal components as often as necessary and at least once a year. Do not use a high-pressure or steam cleaner. Check that the motor-fan is securely fitted. Check that there are no unusual noises.
